We booked a suite and if we go back, we would book it again. The view from the room with many windows is incredible. We didn't have time to go to the pool, but even though it was small, the view from there was impressive. You should know that the hotel is on a small hill and that makes the view over Kandy spectacular.

We stayed at Lake Avenue Hotel Kandy for just one night, but could take full advantage of many attractions this wonderful city offers, because many of the sights are in walking distance from the hotel such as the Tooth Temple “Sri Dalada Maligawa” (don’t miss the Puja Ceremony), the Kandyan dancing show at the red cross assembly hall, Kandy’s artificial lake and the city center of Kandy. Our room was very comfortable and big, the bathroom with hot shower worked out nicely too, the receptionists were very helpful e.g. with tips, organising tickets and always had a smile, the same with the very pleasant parking and security guard in front of the entrance. Just next door, connected to the hotel,” is a coffee shop that prepares good cappuccino. The hotel’s breakfast offers western and sri lankan style dishes besides a good selection of fruits. So, if you want to visit Kandy don’t hesitate to stay at Lake Avenue Hotel Kandy. If we have the opportunity to come to Kandy again, we would definitely stay in this pleasant hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were comfortable, the shower worked well, the staff was also a super helpful and kind. They had great tips for what to do in Kandy and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable .

Good hotel at the heart of Kandy City. Close to everything and you can walk everywhere.. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and had a balcony as well with city views. Bathroom was great with good water pressure for both cold and hot water.
