Our family room was a large and good size. The vibe of the room was very good.

This was an unexpectedly amazing place to stay at. The river looks absolutely amazing from your room. The rooftop restaurant is really good too

Great hotel, right next to the temple of tooth relic and in city center. I truly don’t understand negative reviews, for this price, room is clean, designed in old fashion way but that’s the charm, food was amazing too. Definitely would recommend for staying in Kandy.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, we met kaveesha when we checked in she was so welcoming and made sure that all our needs are met . My daughter loved her so much and kept asking for her during our stay. They gave us an upgrade and the room was so big and specious we appreciated that since kids needs space. At some point there was a problem with the jacuzzi they immediately sent the maintenance to fix it and then personally made sure that our issue is fixed and offered us a discount & complementary room service to makeup for what happened. The swimming pool is so nice my daughter loved it and the view is spectacular from the room and the pool. Food is good and the restaurant had a variety of food however if ur Arab maybe breakfast it wouldn't be to ur taste .

Authenticity is something hard to find in the hotelier business. But there's no lack of it at Cinnamon citadel. Place was exceptionally clean, staff were immensely helpful at every point. Authentic srilankan cuisine has never come close to perfection. Services offered were flexible and payment didn't feel like a headache. Perfect for families and couples looking to find some peace.

Perfect location, really quiet but just two minutes walk from lake and Kandy city centre. Hotel was really nice and the breakfast on the rooftop with alle lake view was really good. The staff was really kind and friendly. They provided me take away breakfast as I was checking out very early 6:00 am. I’ll be back when in Kandy

Absolutely professional staff! We stayed there only 1 day but everyone was really suppoetive and suggested activities nearby. Breakfast was buffe style but many many options even freshly made omlett etc. Room was really spacious and super clean with a big bathtub! Wiew was also amazing.

This hotel was marketed as 4 star hotel but was more 5 star when it comes to warm service, setting, cleanliness and especially the mouth-watering food we were able to enjoy both during breakfast and dinner. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka and it was served very professionally including beautiful decorations and 5 star service. We also were able to encounter monkeys from our balcony where we stayed inside as advised but saw them play on the balcony which kids loved. The room was huge and provided great views. Sadly the weather was bad so we were only able to swim in the pool the day we were leaving the hotel. Highly recommended!

We liked everything, there was even a hair dryer in the room which in Asia is something extraordinary. The location is great, just in the center. The laundry service was quick and cheap. The room was comfortable, shower with nice pressure and hot water. Nothing to complain.

Great hotel, lovely staff and cery comfortable stay

Excellent heritage property, bang in the middle of old town Kandy with all sights within walking distance. A lot of restaurants around, covering most cuisines. The hotel is in the middle of town so you get the local feel and ye the rooms are placed at the back to avoid most noise. The property has an excellent bar...duh in the name also with a perfect setting in an internal courtyard. Breakfast has several optional items to order - my cheese omlette and bacon was perfecctt ! All in all, a great place to enjoy Kandy
