The hotel is perfectly located with a direct view on Ella Rock. It s 5 min walking distance from everything you want in the city center. The service was impeccable and the food very tasty. We loved the breakfast (fresh tea, pancakes, eggs, fruits, sri lankan food as well) and the food in general (curry ordered for dinner was excellent). You can do yoga classes, massages, access the pool, enjoy your balcony. We recommend 100%.

Location is perfect and exceeded my expectations.

The best views around - Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock, Small Rawana Waterfall. The place is clean, tidy, the upper floor built recently - new and fresh. A great staff - helpful and professional. Prianti (I hope, I put his name correctly) assistance was great. Some said, the access is a bit steep to the place. We did not find it to be a problem, since the staff helped to carry the luggage. Great breakfast, a wildlife around (different birds). 5 minutes by tuktuk to/from town center. A perfect place to stay in Ella.

The most beautiful hotel in a location that’s like paradise :) cannot recommend this place more!

The nature and how we it's integrated together

I recently stayed at Hide Ella Hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The pool was beautifully designed, with crystal-clear water and plenty of space to relax. Whether you’re taking a refreshing swim or lounging by the poolside, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. The sauna was a standout feature—clean, well-maintained, and with just the right level of heat to melt away stress. It felt incredibly rejuvenating! The hot tub was another highlight of the stay. It was warm, inviting, and perfect after a long day of exploring. The setting around the hot tub added a touch of luxury, making it a truly relaxing experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect. I would highly recommend Hide Ella Hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious getaway with excellent amenities.

This was a wonderful overnight stay, we wished we stayed for some more days here! The staff was amazing and the view was absolutly breathtaking. Very nice room and sooo comfortable bed! Recomend everyone this stay!

Beautiful gardens, really helpful staff and great pool

Cozy cottage is the ideal place to recharge your batteries in the middle of nature! The cottage is located a bit away from Ella City (too many tourists, too much hustle and bustle!). Viraj, the hotel manager, picked us up where the taxi driver had left us. Viraj really cares about his guests and is extremely welcoming! My husband and I were also very warmly received by the staff, who were always smiling and friendly. We booked the room with a view of Ella Rock View Point: just breathtaking! The room was clean and spacious with an en-suite bathroom. The sunrise and sunset from the balcony are a marvel 😌 . Kitalella train station is a few metres from the cottage and it is from here that the path to Ella Rock view point is taken. Viraj organized a guide for us to go sightseeing in Ella: temples, Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam's Peak, Ravana Zipline... Nirmal(our guide) is a childhood friend of Viraj and knows the area very well. We had a wonderful, happy and funny day with Nirmal. We highly recommend him! Last but not least: the staff at cozy cottage really go out of their way for their guests!

Absolutely gorgeous views and right beside the town but away from the noise. Dinesh was a fantastic host and made us feel so welcome! He brought us to town the first evening so and the breakfasts were delicious! Highly recommend this to stay before it gets too popular!

Really excellent stay. The room was so beautiful and the views were amazing. Really peaceful and as it’s up a hill it’s away from the noise of the main street. The women who work there are so lovely and sweet, our laundry came back smelling amazing. They gave us great recommendations for a tea plantation tour too. Watching the sunrise from our balcony over the hills was really special too. Comfortable bed and great AC too, hot shower!

Nice and clean hotel situated bang in the middle of Ella. The room were spacious and comfortable and the staff all friendly and helpful. Being close to middle of town meant the faint hubbub of life going on outside was in the background but this was nice and anyhow stopped relatively early.

Location was good very close to the shops. Lots of restaurants.

Great location. The staff was amazing and really helpful and kind. The room was big and clean. The shower was great and with hot water.

The location is very good. It is very close to path to 9-arch bridge and to the road to little Adam's peak. There is a good restaurant in 3 minutes walk. Breakfast was nice. Delicious fresh fruits and pancakes. We also tryed local honey. Other way we could skip it because we knew nothing about it before. Room was clean. Hot water provided.
