I just enjoyed a very nice 02 night stay with my wife at the beautiful hotel, will definitely be returning back to the same place with family. It was a newly opened hotel, and functioned very well with no issue, the rooms was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was amazing, the portions sizes were very big. The linen was not as soft, maybe because its still fresh, but overall loved everything.

This place has the most breathtaking panoramic view over Ella and the whole region — truly from another dimension. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, the property is modern and beautifully designed, and everything feels fresh and new. The food was absolutely amazing! One of the very few places where we enjoyed genuinely non-spicy food prepared with so much care and love. The room was comfortable, clean, private, and perfect for relaxing. The staff were incredible — extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help us with transport arrangements and every question we had. We would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

If you like nature, you have to book this place when you have the chance to! The view is simply amazing, directly looking at nine arches bridge, you can look at trains passing by all day long. The house is high enough that it isn’t too noisy, but close enough to just walk down to the bridge from the house. The view of the trees surrounding the nine arches bridge, for me, is surprisingly even more amazing than the bridge itself. Even though we visit on downpour days, and not possible to stay in the balcony at all times, the house still feels so cozy and the large windows allow us to enjoy the view all the same. The owner himself is also amazing. He took great care of us to ensure we have everything we need, and drove us into town and back to the house. He is always here! The breakfast is Sri Lankan, delicious, and the portion is huge! In fact, the house is one of the highlights of our Sri Lankan trip. Thank you! We hope we will come back some day!

Sunrise Mount View is a fantastic place to stay while exploring Ella. The location is peaceful, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and a beautiful sunrise every morning. It's close enough to Ella's main attractions while still offering a quiet escape from the busy town. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and scenic views was the highlight of the trip. I highly recommend Sunrise Mount View to anyone visiting Ella. It offers great value, a relaxing atmosphere, and an unforgettable experience.

Our favorite spot was Little Adam’s Peak, which was great for an easy outdoor activity and offered a wonderful view from the top. We ate at Chill Café, a nice, relaxed place with good food. I was impressed by the low cost of the food and drinks. Getting around Ella is very easy; you can move everywhere by tuk‑tuk at a very low cost. There are several family‑friendly activities, including pools, small adventure spots, playgrounds for kids, and even animal farms. Along the way, you can also see birds, monkeys, and other wildlife, which makes it fun for children. But if you love hiking and climbing, this is the place to be. You can easily walk 15 km a day just exploring the surrounding nature.

Best town to visit specially if you like to visit the...

Best town to visit specially if you like to visit the historical Tea factories in the area, are amazing. Plus you feel inmmersed in the natural environment with culture not in a big city , you can really appreciate their culture and traditions.

Ella was a buzzing little town lots of bars and restaurants surrounded by Amazing scenery. Must walk up to little adam’s of rai can get a tuk tuk to ravana adventure park and then walk or just walk from the town it isn’t far. On the way back we stopped for a foot and leg massage which was incredible

It's a very tourist-oriented place.

It's a very tourist-oriented place. We enjoyed the Little Adam Peak hike (lots of extra activities there) Ravana's Pool is a place to go for shore (stunning view from the pool and jacuzzi) Downtown offers a variety of food and places to listen to music and have a nice evening vibe. During our stay the disco and clubs were closed but usually there is a night scene apparently.

Loved Ella, stunning scenery.

Loved Ella, stunning scenery. Don't bother with the train unless you have a seat, it's heaving like a London tube in rush hour so no chance of seeing the bridge or anything at all! The drive from Kandy was incredible. I'd recommend hiring a tuk tuk, great fun though a bit scary and roads can be crazy. 🤣

We stayed one night and really liked it. The views are amazing, the room lovingly put together, a great bathroom and a really nice breakfast. Away from the somewhat busy and a little polluted centre of Ella, yet walking distance. Don't expect a luxury accommodation with everything perfect...there are building works going on around it. But if you like a bit of a more authentic stay and great value for money,I mean it is £19 for a family room, this is your place!

This is a really lovely homestay! It is clean and comfortable and a wonderful haven oasis in the jungle, away from the hectic main road of Ella town. This is not a 5* luxury hotel, it's a clean and comfortable room part of a family's home. It is a little walk - 20 minutes on hilly bumpy road - from the main town, but for me it was perfect. You are already on the way to climb ella rock! I really enjoyed my stay here.

We were made very welcome by Kumara and other staff. This hotel is in the hills around Ella and has lovely views of countryside and a monastery on a hilltop. It is very peaceful and the room was comfortable with an outside balcony. The food was very good.
