Perfect location in the, heart of beautiful Galle. We felt. completely at home in this lovely family run hotel. Malika welcomed, us warmly with cold coconut juice. Her breakfasts were copious and delicious. We appreciated too the complimentary bottle of water given to us each day. Our room was not very big but very nice. Wonderful bed and pillows. The bathroom was by far the nicest we've had in Sri Lanka. Our stay here was especially enjoyable due to the kindness and friendliness of Malika who is a perfect and very professional host.

The Prof's Place is a unique and intimate hotel. It has a traditional Sri Lankan architectural feel with all the modern amenities. It's location is brilliant as it is only a few minutes drive from some of the most brilliant beaches and night life on the southern coast. When you get back to the Prof's Place you are in a secluded oasis of tranquillity overlooking the sea and cocooned in a chill vibe. There's a lovely pool as well. The food is exquisite and the service is always with a smile! Thanks for the great stay!

The hosts are the nicest people ever 😇. Both husband and wife are very helpful and open-hearted. We had the whole 2nd floor for ourselves, with lots of space and comfortable sofas and armchairs to sit during the day. They organized food delivery from their another big hotel for us and that was very helpful. Since it was raining most of the days and we didn’t want to go outside. We could order anything for lunch or dinner and they’d bring it and serve in one hour. Also Denishi was very kind to do the laundry for us. 🙏

You can see it is a beautiful hotel from the minute you walk in the reception. Rooms were beautiful and spacious. Big balcony. By far the best hotel we've stayed in during our sri lankan holiday snd the comfiest bed. Breakfast was amazing, and the coffee was great. Also if your in the cafe it's worth trying the merchant iced coffee! Perfect location within the Fort, short walk to the light house. Staff were so friendly.

I have experience an amazing hospitality from all the staff members ! The room was large and confortable, with a beautiful view over the city. The hotel is located in a peaceful area, few minutes away from the city center, train station, bus center, and the beautiful Fort of Galle. You can find many comodities around, restaurants and supermarket, otherwise the hotel can cook delicious Sri Lankan cuisine too.

The hotel is comfortable and has nice style, with good sized rooms. It's in a quiet location and the staff are very lovely and helpful. The hotel is a 5 minute tuk tuk ride from Galle Fort (25 min walk along busy road) which means it's nice and out the way. Be warned that tuk tuks from the Fort will try to charge too much, it should be no more than 500 rupees.

Location – Excellent. The place is located right in the heart of Galle fort area. Shopping places, restaurants and the sea are just at a walkable distance. Staff – The Hotel Staff was Good and their service was quick. Cleanliness – Neat and clean. The suite is extremely spacious and the washroom has a bathtub too.

Great location within Galle fort. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The room was big and beds comfortable. The owner Merica took us to the local turtle sanctuary and dropped us at the bus station, a true gentleman. Thank you Merica, it was lovely to meet you, your wife and family. We had a lovely stay 😃

Great location and closer to everything around Galle fort. We got a free upgrade to an upstairs room with a balcony and we really loved our stay. Room was fully equipped with everything we needed and the hotel looked amazing with all Sri Lankan interior designing. Friendly staff and great breakfast.

The hotel is amazing, the architecture and the interior design are stunning. The rooms were well equipped and beautifully presented. The staff were very courteous and friendly. You can not beat the location inside the beautiful Galle fort. The breakfast ( both western and Sri lankan) was very good.

Loved my stay at Arches Fort! The room was small but very clean and newly built. Great location too, as it was a quick walk away from all the good sports within the fort. The staff was so kind and friendly, it made an impression on me! I would definitely stay over again when I’m Galle.

Within walking distance to the Galle Fort and an excellent boutique style hotel. Staff were polite and ready to please. It has a lovely swimming pool. While it is a beachfront hotel with no proper beach, it has great views of the sea. Very relaxing and beautiful hotel!

I would recommend a stay here, everything was great. This is a family run business and the family make you feel so welcome. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean and in a great location within Galle Fort. Breakfast is traditional Sri Lankan, delicious!

My partner and I loved Galle Fort! Definitely a highlight of our Sri Lanka holiday. Le Jardin du Fort was excellently situated in the heart of the fort. The rooms were clean and well-decorated, and the staff were very accommodating. Would recommend!

Friendly staff, good AC, clean shower with hot water, dispenser to refill your water bottle in lobby. AMAZING (and enormous) breakfast served on the front terrace. Right in the heart of Galle Fort, almost within sight of Flagrock Bastion.

Amazing people run this hotel, they really helped us a lot with many stuff that we needed at the time. Totally recommend the place. Also the place is right in the middle of Galle Fort which is really convenient.

Hospitality of management was very good. The owner's family was very forthcoming. Villa is nicely built with good quality rooms. Location is also near railway station and Galle fort.

The cleanest hotel I stayed at in Sri Lanka! The owner welcomed us with an excellent Italian coffee, loved the breakfast, the location, the rooms, the vibe. Highly recommended!
