Featuring a bar and a restaurant, Hotel Refresh Blue is situated in Hikkaduwa. This 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom.

This hotel is right on the beach which even in low season, is a beautiful location. We booked the two bedroom apartment for myself, another adult and 2 children. Beautiful, well furnished, well equipped accommodation which unfortunately leaked badly when it rained on the first night. Mr Sisira, the manager, dealt with the issue very well and we were transferred to two sea view rooms and provided breakfast too. Hotel staff were all excellent; polite and professional and always ready to help. All the meals we ate at the hotel were well presented and delicious, and good value for money. We would certainly return and recommend this venue for families or couples. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

The hotel is small and cozy located right on the beach. The size of the room is generous and they were cleaned well. We had some amazing food at the restaurant: banana pancakes, fruits, curd, lobster with seafood, kottu. The attention and services the staff gives is unparalleled in all my travels - they will give you flowers when you make photos, escort you to car at 4am, run to give you umbrella or help with moving sun beds. Thanks to all people that made our stay so joyful and memorable and sorry that I forgot your names so I can mention you.

We received a very warm welcome along with some fresh juice when we arrived. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well maintained, along with the fact that it got maintenance every day during our stay (while we were out and about). Our hosts were always reachable and ready to help us with anything we asked. They even helped us rent a scooter at a very reasonable price. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxed! The location is wonderful and dreamy with nature all around and you come across little delights like the way they present the towels etc. We were very happy with our stay and would love to come back one day!

    Hikkaduwa was lovely- the beaches are not too big, but are great for swimming. I loved the turtle beach where 4 turtles could be seen morning and evening in the water. I also had the fortune to be in Hikkaduwa when the baby turtles were hatching and witnessed when they were released in the evening around sunset. The sunsets in Hikkaduwa are really unreal. The water is quite clear and so hot. What else can you want from a beach town. I personally spent most of my meals at the Hungry Bug. They offer a great selection of local food and some western food too. Everything is fresh and cooked on the spot.

    The area had a good mix of shops, bars etc and prices were reasonable. You can choose to stay in central higher end hotels or cheaper options on the periphery but tuktuks only cost about 700rps from one end to the other. Perhaps 1500rps in the evening. We preferred staying outside the main area because it was much quieter but so easy to walk into town along the beautiful beach.

    Lots of choice of food available from vegan/vegetarian (steffi mandala) amazing noodles and a good chilled vibe on the beach or probably the best sea food restaurant unfortunately road side was Bambinis look it up, food is excellent and a very good price. We'll stocked supermarkets. A good accommodation choice either beach or jungle.

    Hikkaduwa is good and easy, very tourists friendly for friends, families and couples. Opportunities to snorkel, surf, swim and relax on the beach. There is also big techno parties on some nights and they will make too much noise through the night but it is just on night time to time.

There are many surfing schools for all levels. the beach is also very nice and clean, the water is tansparent, some people say the waves are too big, but if you swim a little bit further - it just absolutelly ok.

    The hotel is located right on the beach, not far from Galle, and from the rooms you can have a panoramic view of the vast beach in Hikkaduwa. The rooms are spacious and equipped with smart home appliances, a kitchen, an oven, tableware, and all the necessary facilities. The food served at the hotel is particularly outstanding and delicious! It was the best meal I've ever had in Sri Lanka! The hotel staff are very friendly! We had a great time in Hikkaduwa!

    Beautiful sri lankan style boutique hotel. Very cosy! The staff is very friendly and service-minded. The rooms are spacious and have an amazing view to the beach, with a relaxing and private balcony. The swimming pool had shadow which was great for us with our daughter (8 months). You can also enjoy all of your meals and drinks just by the beach.
