The staff were incredibly helpful and super friendly, making us feel welcome from the first moment. The place feels like a true jungle paradise — peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were super clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. The location is also perfect, very close to all the main attractions in Sigiriya. We highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again!

Royal Rock is a quiet, peaceful haven handy for Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa. The food is excellent, service attentive but not intrusive and the ambience is most relaxing. The rooms all have a view of a lion rock and paddy filed which is home to varieties of birdlife. There is a comfortable pool to cool off in and rooms are cozy.

Offering a barbecue and sun terrace, Sigiriya Water Cottage is set in Sigiriya, 3.4 km from Sigiriya Rock. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Such a beautiful stay! The water cottages are spacious and clean with everything you need. A unique, authentic experience with a beautiful pool. The owners were so helpful, they organized a taxi to pick us up from Negombo and one to take us to Kandy for very reasonable prices. They also gave us a tuk tuk to Pidurangala rock so we could climb it for sunrise, and waited for us to return. We had a delicious meal of Sri Lankan curries cooked by one of the owners - one of the best meals of the trip. We couldn't recommend this place enough.

The staff were really friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean the shower had nice hot water we really enjoyed our stay they also helped us with our safari and their price was good. They gave us a very nice gift when leaving

I cannot rate our stay here highly enough and dont really know where to start. We were so glad we had three nights here and could have stayed longer. Dinusha and his staff were the absolute best. We had so many laughs with them. We got taken to the Dambulla caves and the vegetable and spice markets which was a fantastic day. There is a perfect view of Lion Rock from the balcony. The dinner we had there was delicious but there are also lots of good options a 10 minute walk away down from the side road where Lion See is. The beers were a good price and cold, the pool was immaculate and the rooms were big and clean. I honestly can't find any faults with this place and we were sad to leave. Great location, Sigiriya Rock mountain is within walking distance. We stayed on New Year’s eve and it was so nice. The staff was lovely and sincere, the kind that you can really trust and you want to be friends with. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. The cabins were spotless and very comfortable. No mosquitoes, the place is well taken care of, well above average. One of the best accommodations we stayed in Sri Lanka.

Clean, modest hotel in bungalow style administered by a very friendly family. They quickly and effectively attended to all our requests. There was a hot water. Hotel is located in the middle of the forest, off road. This is not a 5 star hotel, so the lower expectations, the better. It is equipped with all necessary stuff to meet basic requirements and the hosts are really doing their best.

Anji and the staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful! Very nice and clean rooms, toilets, and facilities! The roof top lookouts were fantastic. Had the most relaxing time of my trip in Sri Lanka in one of them. Located close to the attractions.
