Stay here!! Another big bonus: I had a bad cold and the owner made sure I get medicine which worked like a charm. Thank you so much!!

Beautiful location next to a river with lots of wildlife around. Beautiful grounds to walk alround with lots of interesting statues etc .Lovely clean pool and great food. The owners were friendly and helpful. Pool surrounded by coconut trees and you can watch as the fearless coconut man climbs a tree and shimmies across the ropes from one tree to another placing pots to collect the toddy. We were given drinks to try .. delicious the food was good too especially the coconut honey . Great place to relax away from everything . The cabin was huge with seating area inside and outside to watch the squirrels running around .

Really cool tree house rooms on the peninsula. The host and cook is amazing and he makes delicious meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

Anawasal offers lagoon front accommodation and yoga classes in Kalpitiya. Free private parking is available on site. We liked Anawasal a lot. Unique place next to sea offering really nice accomodation and great service. You can just take it easy and relax.

We had an amazing stay at Elegant Hamlets Home Stay, an absolute true gem with serene surroundings for relaxing, extremely modern, spacious and built to Western and European standards, the Hosts Sherine and Chamara are extremely friendly and helpful and makes you feel welcome and right at home. The jetted pool is nothing short of your own private little oasis, the home meals are absolutely delightful, the facilities are outstanding and include a well equipped beautiful outdoor kitchen area beside the villa, water, coffee and tea facilities are readily available in the villa. While we had a dialog tourist phone plan, we found the in house wifi to be very fast and reliable.This was our favourite homestay in Sri Lanka and we highly recommend this Homestay. Side note; google street view map is outdated, the area and roads are very good and built up, tuk tuk’s and PickMe are readily available. A big thanks and gratitude to our wonderful hosts! The room was built well, spacious and had a great AC. From the room windows we were able to spot animals like monkeys and squirrels, and we saw plenty of birds in the area as well. The staff were AMAZING. Super helpful and nice, always available for questions and explanations about the wildlife. We booked the safari tour from the hotel and it was great decision - they provided us with great food and we were accompanied by Shantha, a guide from the hotel, who was friendly, professional and thanks to his knowledge we were able to see two different leopards in two different days. We recommend asking for the tour with him.

The property has a wide park and offers beautiful lagoon views. The restaurant is excellent, and we recommend choosing half board (breakfast and dinner), as it was the best food we had during our three-week trip in Sri Lanka and there are very limited options to eat in Kalpitiya. The staff were very kind and helpful, with a special mention to our waiter, Ahamed, who was attentive throughout our stay. The staff also helped us organize activities nearby, including a lagoon boat tour and kitesurfing lessons.
