I don’t have enough words in my native language ti describe the beauty of this place , so in English I even wouldn’t try . It was best nature’s place I ever visited ( and I try to find such places during my vacations) If you’re reading this - don’t hesitate!

The place is just fantastic. There were everything you need. A great place for families as well as with friends. There is a small terrace where you can relax very comfortably. The hostess is very nice and helps with everything you need. Everything is prepared so that you can relax in both hot and cold weather. There are many ways for children to occupy themselves. It is also great that you can go swimming. It is possible to grill something (only coal is needed, the rest is already there). Showers and toilets very clean and tidy. A small kitchenette with everything you need is also available.

Usma SPA Hotel & Resort ligger precis intill sjön Usma och har en privat strand. Här erbjuds olika typer av boende samt ett urval av fritidsaktiviteter och hälsobehandlingar. Super comfy beds, fabulous restaurant with terrace (reasonable priced with good sized portions - recomended!). Before arrival I checked comments and some were complaining about the breakfast. I would give excellent mark as it contained good variety and was delicious!

Dzintara Pirts har utsikt över sjön och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge och en balkong, 17 km från Kuldīga Old Town Hall. Spacious outside and inside sitting areas, pool and sauna were great, beds pretty comfy and the kitchen was properly stacked with everything you can possibly think of, including spices (we brought our own, expecting salt and pepper only). Lake is a few steps down from the property, where you can go for a swim or take a SUP, changing huts are right by the lake too. Location is great to visit waterfalls and Kuldiga itself, caves and, also, owner suggested ostrich and goats farm - which proven to be a great little hidden gem, young ladies serving and giving a tour were an absolute joy and the food at the restaurant on site was lovely too. Little minimarket is 2 min walk away from the property and has everything you might possibly need, from groceries, toileitries, drinks and eben coal for bbq. All in all - a great place at a great location and more than reasonably priced.
