The room was so comfortable - amazing bed and a great range of facilities, we could have stayed a whole week and it would have been great! Perfect location for us to visit the Calakmul biosphere - host was super-helpful. Easy to find and great parking. There was also an amazing bar /restaurant within walking distance, as well as an Oxxo for any supplies needed. Watch out for a time difference here - we think there was one between the property and the restaurant which got us very confused!

We had a very pleasant stay. The garden is beautiful and there is a swimming pool overlooking the sea. Our room had everything we needed and was nicely decorated. This place is more than amazing! It seems too good to be true when you read the description. Such a big house in the heart of Campeche. It's beautifully designed with all kinds of details. And lots of extras as a water dispenser, lots of towels and pool towels. Host was very responsive and helpful. So if you have the chance to book this place, certainly do!

We found Habitación, balcón frente al mar y alberca to be a good value for the money — the view and close access (15 miutes walking) to the sea are definite highlights, and communication with the owner was very responsive and pleasant throughout our stay.

Evening meal in the restaurant...both food and service were very good. Reception, room service and parking staff very professional. Grounds with pool excellent. We don't normally stay in this class of hotels - highly recommended

Even now that I’m home, it’s still on my mind! This place is truly magical. From the stunning old arches and that beautiful black and white tiled floor to the peaceful corners with hammocks and lush plants, every detail is thoughtful and inspiring. My sister and I had the most memorable and relaxing stay. The staff also made our stay feel even more special. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had the best experience possible. I loved it so much that I’ve come home inspired to bring a little bit of Casa Japa’s charm into my own house. This place is more than just a place to sleep it’s a place that stays with you long after you leave.
