I had such an exceptional stay at Casa Toro! I originally booked 3 nights in the female dorm, because I'm normally not a fan of shared bed/bathrooms, but I ended up extending twice. For me personally it was great that it's a boutique hotel, and not a hostel. So it doesn't attract the party crowd, but it's still super easy to meet people there. The hotel is stunning, the location is great, amenities are perfect, but the best part is the staff! A special thanks to Kaitlin, Nuri and Gonzalo! Thanks for making my stay so amazing. Can't wait to come back!

Mantra Hotel is the best place in La Punta!!! We had an amazing time there! It’s definitely a Boutique Hotel, close to EVERYTHING. The staff are so wonderful. I will definitely go back if I travel to Puerto Escondido again!! The team are so helpful and so kind, they went out of their way. Was like staying with family. We forgot some things and they contacted me immediately. The most honest people I have ever met!!! Don’t miss out on this!!!!

Loved the pool and bar area! Nice shaded communal areas for lounging too. The staff were lovely and attentive. The cafe - casa del surfer, on site had amazing food. The hosts provide a guide to local restaurants/cafes too which was super helpful. Did a surf lesson with mapache surf adventures as recommended by casa badu and would highly recommend this too.

I felt like I was in paradise! There’s nothing like waking up and having your morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The rooms were neat and very clean, the terrace was spacious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The location is perfect: very close to the beach and the area with bars and restaurants, yet far enough to enjoy a peaceful and quiet corner. They also helped me get a great deal to rent an ACT motorbike, which made exploring the area even easier. It was really sad to leave this place. Next time I’m in Puerto Escondido, I will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location, the view from the top floor rooms is stunning. It’s remote and quiet, the sunrises and sunsets are amazing. The pool is so nice and there are so many lovely seating areas. The kitchen is great and well equipped with clear spaces for food storage and the rooms are stylish and clean.

Really beautiful place with great service. The reception team is super friendly and always ready to recommend nice spots and things to do. The restaurant food is amazing, and the waiters are very professional and attentive.
