A brand new, beautiful hotel, near to Chichen Itza. The staff were incredible, friendly, helpful and attentive. The whole place is landscaped and designed really well. The rooms are spacious, stylish and comfortable with a tv and fridge. The food was delicious, including Mayan cuisine and some other options like salads and pasta. The portions were all very large. It’s close to chichen itza and they will take you there in a minibus for a small fee. I loved watching all the brightly coloured birds who were nesting in the trees nearby. We really couldn’t fault it.

This was one of the best hostels I stayed in along my travels. The staff were lovely, and they have lots of activities that you can join in with. The rooms themselves were also great - you have a separate pod/cubicle in a large warehouse area for some privacy, and good shower areas. It was only 10 minute walk away from the centre which meant it was quiet!

Juan was incredibly helpful and attentive and really takes pride in Casa Tunkul. The room was beautiful and spacious. It's only a short walk from the centre but still really peaceful at night. Highly recommended!

We ended up staying here for two nights unexpectedly after our flight was canceled, and we’re so glad we found this hotel. Despite being a last minute booking, the staff were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and helpful from start to finish. We were upgraded, and the room was absolutely gorgeous, clean and very comfortable. We did have a small issue with the hot water, but it was resolved within about 15 minutes, which was impressive. The location is extremely convenient and close to many great restaurants. The street can be a bit noisy at times, but that’s to be expected given how central the area is. The rooftop pool was beautiful and a perfect, relaxing escape. Overall, a fantastic experience especially during an otherwise stressful travel disruption and we would happily stay here again!
