Staff is very friendly and highly competent. Excellent food in the lodge restaurant. River Cruises along the Chobe River Front with very motivated guides are highly recommended. Interesting bird life in the lodge area.

Set on the banks of the Okavango River, Shametu River Lodge offers views of the Popa Falls and is 6.5 km from Divundu. Free private parking is available on site. Great welcome. Absolutely fantastic for birds and wildlife. Could easily spend hours enjoying the stunning view from the room and grounds. Everyone friendly and helpful, the manageress was lovely, coming to speak with us at meals. Sundowner Boat trip fabulous, great guide. To have the amazing Mahangu Core Reserve only 15 minutes away was excellent, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo and so much more. The food was delicious, catering for our vegetarian diet. For birders the views of Rock Pratincoles just incredible, I saw over 150 species of bird in a day in this area. Would love to return again.

Dessa tält har verandor med utsikt över Okavango River. Varje tält har trägolv och en garderob. Myggnät och badrum ingår också. Everything was perfect, the location, the staff, the food (they made vegan just for me and with very good quality), the room was incredible, and the game drive and the boat cruise were both great.

Fabulous, friendly and efficient staff, especially our guides Robert and Nicholas who were very knowledgeable regarding the wildlife, boat handling and fishing. The food was first class and the river location very private and special.

Discover Chobe Water Villas, a luxurious sanctuary situated where two mighty rivers meet, creating a wetland paradise teeming with wildlife. We spent 2 wonderful days at Water Villas, liked everything, the delicious food, the extremely friendly staff, especially Kelvin, the captain on the boat, Joy, the lady, who explained us what we should order for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Josephine, who were with us on our two boat tours and always had a smile in her face. We were the only guests, felt like kings in France in this wonderful calm and peaceful landscape on the Namibian side of Chobe river and enjoyed really each second. Sorry, Joel, somedays we will come back ….

Perfect base for excursions in the surrounding national parks.

White Sands Lodge ligger i Divundu och har en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en egen strand och en terrass. Utöver rumsservice har detta boende även en grill. We loved this place. Beautiful location, right in the national park. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with many different seating options where you can watch the waterfalls and surroundings. The bungalows are clean and nice with a private terrace with views across the river and waterfalls. Staff is very helpful and kind. The sunset cruise offered was really good, we saw lots of wildlife.
