The stunning location of individual chalets amongst the rocks in the desert, the friendly, attentive staff, the excellent buffet dinner, the pool on the edge of the desert with enough loungers for everyone, the bean bags under a large rock above the pool, the sunsets over the desert. What an amazing place!

It is a wonderfully eclectic oasis of Namibian, charm and history. With the old car theme and imaginative decor, the ambience is unique. The staff were lovely from the restaurant, reception and bar to the extremely helpful Christian, who seemed to be everywhere and made sure we had a mechanic to fix a technical issue with our car. The food we had for lunch and dinner was also lovely. I highly recommend staying here, but make sure you book early!

Located just 5 km from the Vioolsdrift Border Control to Namibia, Frontier River Resort offers a unique escape overlooking the Orange River in South Africa. A perfect lodge at a perfect spot. The tent was very nice, the bed perfect and the lodge was a very welcome peaceful area. The view is stunning and the beds are very comfortable. The food was amazing! Everything fresh made, with love and attention. I will recommend this lidge to everybody!
