The chalet was comfortable and had plenty of space for four people and a dog. The shower was very good, the heated pool was excellent. Our kids loved it, as well as the sports court. The sauna has the option for infrared or Finnish sauna. We really liked the Clubhouse where you could borrow sports equipment. A limited range of items to purchase but this was fine. The croissants were amazing and the ice lollies made a nice change from the regular ones on offer in supermarkets. The location is quiet, perfect for dog walking, running and cycling. Plenty of nice towns to get a good value dinner.

It was so quiet, and the hosts were welcoming and lovely. The breakfasts are wonderful! The pipowagen is as pictured and the bed is very comfortable. Nice pillows. The inside smells pleasant, and you can get a good cross breeze with windows with fly screens. If you really want to avoid mosquitoes, bring insect repellent. Nespresso coffee maker with several capsules provided. We used the sauna and it was great. They provided a carafe of water plus a bowl of fresh fruit. The space has a lovely layout, and you could either have a cooling shower or run and jump into the swimming pond. The plants are varied and thoughtfully arranged. Nice way to spend a drizzly afternoon.

Residence Lichtenvoorde offers self-catering accommodation located in the quiet countryside of Lichtenvoorde, only 2 km from motorway N18. It also offers free private parking on site. Great vacation park in a beautiful rural setting. Nice staff, great restaurant and pools.
