Situé à Mjølfjell, l’établissement Voss Mountain Lodge possède une piscine extérieure ouverte en saison, un jardin, un salon commun et une terrasse. For us, the Mountain Lodge was the absolute perfect place for our hiking holiday - so perfect we ended up staying an extra night. If you love nature, this is the place for you. We went into every direction to hike and had breathtaking views every day we went out. What I am saying is: the location of this place was everything we could hope for. The Lodge itself is run by very caring and kind people, the rooms are 'homey' (we loved the wood) and the communal kitchen was a place where we had interactions with people from all around the globe. All the amenities are kept clean but you have to go with the knowledge that this is more like a hostel than a hotel, which means shared bathrooms, showers and kitchen are not going to look squeaky clean for the entire day. We loved it all the same. The place also has a very rich history, which is worth asking about or researching on your own. The way down from the train station is a hike on its own, so don't bring a big suitcase or you will have to haul it down a very small and steep path. One more tipp: if you keep your eyes open and stay patient you can see norway lemmings up in the mountains (they look like hamsters and are pretty cute).

Set in a charming 19th-century building, Fleischer's Hotel enjoys a picturesque location by Lake Vangsvatnet, right next to the Voss Train Station. Very clean, well located, delicious breakfast, good swimming pool, and our favorite part was the live music in the bar enjoying a very good cocktail.

It was small, but very functional and efficient for the space. We loved the small space, recreational room and quiet area with close proximity to Voss and Flam. We didn't use the kitchen because we were a group of 5 and it seemed too tight. We liked having the fridge for cold drinks and quick breakfast items. Free parking and a pool, too!
