The place has amazing views and we found it very relaxing to come back after a long day of sightseeing. Amenities were very nice. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The pool, tennis courts and offering of kayaks and equipment was very kind of the host to offer. The grocery stores and restaurants were close, a short drive for us. The unit was very modern and clean and much larger than expected. Whitianga is a very beautiful relaxing town and this unit was in a great location.

I was very impressed and appreciated the standard of cleaning in the accommodation. The public shower and toilets were spotlessly clean at all times. It is obvious that they all work really hard to maintain standards. The lovely lady on the main reception was extremely helpful and friendly. I .loved the visit of the mummy duck with her duckings paying a visit to my door one morning. It is a great place to use as a base for visiting the surrounding area.

The cottage has charm, beautiful views and it’s in a very quiet location. The space is private with ample parking for a large car. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need, and Anna-Marie keeps the fridge stocked with all essential items, breakfast and snacks throughout the day. There was fresh eggs, bacon, cheese, jam, bread, croissants, smoked salmon, fruit, yogurt, cereal, all different kinds of beverages, cookies, etc. Anna-Marie also stopped by and delivered fresh produce and additional snacks! She was warm, welcoming, and very quick to respond to messages. The small kitchen has everything you need, including a portable HOB burner and an electric frying pan for cooking. Everything is stored in the kitchen cupboards. We loved having air conditioning as we were there during a heat wave. Finally, the best part of our stay was the hospitality of our hosts. I highly recommend this peaceful paradise!
