Offering panoramic views of Lake Taupo, the luxurious self catering apartments at Baycrest Thermal Lodge feature free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. The shores of Lake Taupo are only 100 meters away. Hosts were lovely and hot pools were amazing (outdoor and in room). Right down the road from the lake where you can see the ducks and relax. 15 min walk to town.

Close enough to town to pop in for groceries, yet far enough away to feel peaceful and relaxing. We loved having two floors (and two full bathrooms) to share with our adult sons. The balconies had great views of the lake and the sunrise. And the kitchen was well appointed making away from home meal prep a breeze. Annie was a kind and friendly hostess and happy to share info about the area with us.

We drove into downtown to eat, since recent knee surgery limited distance, but normally we would have walked. Shared bathroom is large and has an entrance from both bedrooms for easy access.

We enjoyed our cosy and quiet room with its own seating area and well-supplied kitchenette. Wonderfully comfortable bed in which we slept really well. Everything we needed was there, well-organized, clean and tidy. We were warmly welcomed and well looked after. Wish we could have stayed longer!

How great it was! It was much more than I expected. Rooms were wide clean, all facilities were very convenient such as laundry and washing machines. Especially, good for cooking. Furthermore, the bathroom was good, the bedrooms were cozy and outdoor view was fantastic. The most of all, the fee was very appropriate and reasonable. We were so sorry not to have time to enjoy all kinds of activities such as kayak, yacht etc which were provided by accommodation because of having been late. All were well equipped eventhogh we didn't have opportunity to use them. I strongly recommend house.

Jacinta’s place is a gem! The house is very clean, the breakfast was absolutely amazing, and we enjoyed chatting with the host and getting to know her two cute dogs! The bed is very comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. There was even chocolates thoughtfully placed on the bed, which was a “sweet” touch. I would highly recommend Jacinta and Mike’s warm and welcoming place.
