Set on a large country estate with sweeping gardens and panoramic views of the Wairarapa wine-growing region, Parehua Resort features an open-air bar and fine dining restaurant. Amazing suite, pool, position in the wine area and breakfast. We also had great dinner at the restaurant (high quality food, wine and staff)

Aratahi Cottages is set in Carterton and has a private pool and inner courtyard views. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. We loved the pool, the views, the animals, the cottage and all the little touches that the host included in the room. She thought of everything down to razors, talc and sanitary products! Plenty of tea/coffee supplies, pool towels and blankets. Very cosy and central Wairarapa location. We'll be back!

Great spacious room with 4 poster bed, dining table and an arm chair. Large ensuite bathroom that was spotlessly clean. A nice breakfast nook with all the mod cons and a great assortment of breakfast items and fresh milk was a bonus! Had an outdoor balcony with table and chairs to enjoy an outdoors drink. Room was decorated with some awesome yesteryear items and the old wireless actually worked 😊👍 Only stayed the one night on our way through but was definitely worth the stopover. Thanks Simon.
