This new hotel was really the highlight of our trip to Oman. The view into the canyon is amazing, breakfast is really good and room and facilities are all new. Their outside pool is heated as the hotel is at 2000 meter. They opened in September 2024. We also went into the famous Anantara Hotel next to it but I really recommend to book this hotel which was also half the price.

Location is incredible- in the middle of the mountains, secluded, cosy, pool with jacuzzi are a massive bonus, dinner was delicious, room comfortable, views out of this world. You can do some hiking too. Note about the road- don’t take Lamborghini or Ferrari- it wont make it there, but sedan can reach when driving carefully, suv or 4x4 is better.

Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, the highest five star resort in the middle east on the curving rim of a great canyon, is a secluded haven for the intrepid and discerning. excellent hospitality, Amazing memories. one of the best stays we ever had in our lifetime.

Perched 2000 metres above sea level, Alila Jabal Akhdar is an ultra-luxurious resort with views of the Al Hajar Mountains. Breakfast was excellent with quite a spread and variety to choose from . Service was excellent and personal. Friendly & extremely helpful staff.

I highly recommend it. Every detail of the chalet was amazing. The owner is a very kind and respectful person who helped us a lot during our trip. He shared valuable information about Sohar city, including tourist attractions, beautiful restaurants, the beach, children’s play areas, and more. Sohar is a very beautiful city and absolutely worth visiting — and Hawana Chalet added even more charm to the experience. The children’s play area was lovely, along with the birds, waterfall, and fountains. The green landscape was stunning, with a variety of beautiful flowers. There is a dedicated BBQ area, comfortable outdoor seating areas, and well-organized, stylish bedrooms. The master bedroom has a wonderful view overlooking the swimming pool. There is also a seating room directly by the pool, and a living room with a modern and harmonious design. The chalet is spacious and wide, with private parking available. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The location is very close and easy to access. I will definitely repeat my visit.
