We loved this hotel! 100% our very favourite accommodation in 6 weeks in Peru! The family operating this hotel is some of the kindest people we met and they will help you with anything you need :) Their property is huge and they show you around and explain to you everything you need and want to know! I was sick for 2 days, and they even made me a special herbal tea from an Amazonian plant that helped me a lot. Even the food - amazing!! All the meals are delicious, freshly prepared, and made with a lot of local and seasonal plants from their 14-hectare land. On our walk, we even went to pick fruits with them, which we could try 5 minutes later! This was truly an amazing experience, and this hotel alone was worth the commute to Iquitos.

El apartamento era precioso, amplio, tenía aire acondicionado y ventiladores (de esos del techo), lo que permitía ajustar la temperatura interior bastante bien. La piscina era muy agradable, usamos un par de veces la parrilla, y el sector de asados tiene servicio, platos, lavaplatos, todo todo. La recomendaremos en el futuro.

Our host Guillermo was helpful from the get-go. He made sure we understood the fair rate for transportation, made calls for booking a boat to Leticia. Asked a carpenter to stop working - it was loud- when we arrived back to our room. We didn't make this request, he just did it. He allowed us to check out late with a very very small fee. Instructed the moto-taxi driver to help us with our bags at the port. So kind and joyful, always smiling.

I’ve stayed one week in the wonderful Guacamayo Azul integrating my journeys in the jungle, and seriously, I have no words how amazing this place is! The house is luxurious, huge comfortable main bedroom, fully equipped kitchen where I felt I could cook as if I was back home. The pool is another sort of privilege; calm and safe location, comparing to the rest of Iquitos. Julio, the housekeeper, would help me with absolutely everything I needed - driving me to do buy groceries, help around the house, even accompanying me to explore the local area’s gems so I don’t feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. A special thanks to him! The house is massive and would fit a company up to 8 people, but also it’s an incredible stay for a solo person, who seeks quietness and solitude, like in my case. I truly appreciate my time in Guacamayo Azul, and it only leaves me to wonder why it’s not yet fully booked. I wish you that!

Casa de Campo Hotel Majestic Yurimaguas dispone de bicicletas gratis, piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza en Yurimaguas. Such a lovely hotel with amazing service and food. We stayed for 4 nights and could not have been happier and better cared for. Great room and bed, super breakfast, a beautiful garden and pool. Just 5 minutes by mototaxi from the center. The owner is an amazing person, highly recommend this place!

Posada Cumpanama tiene piscina al aire libre, jardín, terraza y restaurante en Yurimaguas. El hotel también dispone de wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Close to the main plaza, to the port and very well located Staff were fantastic and helping with accommodation.

Este albergue está situado a orillas del río Amazonas, en la Reserva Comunal Yanamono, a 80 km de Iquitos. Las instalaciones son muy completas, el personal es muy agradable, discreto y atento. Las excursiones estuvieron muy bien organizados, completas y puntuales. Los traslados en lancha son muy cómodos. Nuestro guía fue Antoni. Un tío encantador, resolvió todas nuestras dudas, nos generó muchísima confianza en la selva, las explicaciones de animales y plantas eran completas y muy entendibles.
