Even with the language barrier we shared many laughs. The food is exceptional.

The attention to detail is faultless, the place oozes love for surrounds. I stayed in 2 other places in Tarapoto - this is the No.1 choice if you seek a beautiful, tranquil, relaxing stay with super pool, lovely food (sushi is fantastic!) and wonderful staff.

Accoglienti e disponibili, sia il proprietario che la ragazza della reception mi hanno aiutata a prenotare taxi ed escursioni fuori porta, seppur non erano servizi offerti da loro. La piscina e la natura intorno offrono relax e pace, ho avuto modo anche di provare la cucina… buonissima! La stanza era pulita e fresca, con una grande Smart tv…da tornarci e starci per più tempo!

Lots of nice short trails around for exploring, beautiful view of the river lots of nice sights and sound of la serva in a relatively luxurious setting. The pool was perfect for our kids and there’s a natural pool fed by water flowing down from the mountain just a few minutes’ walk away. The included breakfast buffet had a lot of nice local food: Juanes, tamales, plantains, herbal teas and jams etc. and very good scrambled eggs(not always easy on a buffet) ask for the hot sauce criolla(?) Also loved the cold fresh coconuts as a poolside drink. Other meals are not included but the prices are decent and the food is all good. The staff was really friendly and helpful with any requests They have monkeys that visit! (Tamarins)

Tierra Alta, Refugio de Montaña, Sauce offre la vista sulla montagna a Sauce e dispone di ristorante, banco escursioni, bar, giardino, piscina scoperta aperta tutto l'anno e terrazza. The setting in the jungle with the fabulous view over the lake was amazing. The room has a lovely well designed, self contained, compact bungalow It fitted a king size bed, minibar ( opcional) toilet and shower with a little patio outside with swing chair and hamock. A short walk to a lovely bar/ restaurant which does great regional food and a full bar at good prices. Every day we were dropped off at the lake for jetskis ( extra) which were modern and great fun, kayaking and swimming. We arranged other little trips around the village to the mudbaths etcétera. The owner, Isa was a pleasure to deal with as we're all the staff especially, Ruth (reception) and all the girls at the bar/ kitchen. They really care about your stay and do what they can to make sure you enjoy the facilites as well as they area in general. It reminded me a lot of South East Asia.If You had a question or wanted to organice anything you could just ring up reception and You got a straight answer immediately and they tour/ service could be organised immediately. We really loved it there and hope to make it back at some stage. Top trips in Perú.
