The pool in the garden is as well a nice way to cool down your feet.

I can honestly say it was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff were warm and welcoming, the room was very comfortable, dinner was delicious, and breakfast was outstanding. Set in Viana do Castelo and facing Lima River, the AP Dona Aninhas is 2 minutes' walking from the city centre. Very clean and beautiful. The bathroom appliances was quality.

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. Leandro at the desk and Lara at the bar and breakfast were very accommodating, welcoming and informative. They made our 3-day stay an excellent one.

Beautiful room and location! The bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent and the little kitchenette in the room was useful. Our dogs were also very welcome and loved walking around the vineyard. We didn’t use the pool but I’m sure it would be lovely on a hot day! Breakfast was simple but delicious and served in the family house. We would recommend it for one night, or a few nights so you can relax into the stunning surroundings.
