This hotel dates back to the 19th century and enjoys a waterfront location. The Stora Torget square is within 100 metres, while Karlstad Central Station is a 5-minute walk away. I like the restaurant and the roof top. Also, I like the size of the room, which was big enough for 2 people. The breakfast was amazing and the view over the river was really nice. The location was very good.

This quiet hotel lies by Lake Vänern, just 5 minutes’ drive from Vänersborg city centre. It has a gym and spa and offers free Wi-Fi, pool and sauna access. I really enjoyed the view and the water pressure. I'm a stickler for the water pressure.

First Hotel Royal lies in central Säffle, only 500 m from the Säffle Train station. Very polite helpful and co operative staff. Good breakfast. Excellent bar and food. Car parking excellent. Charging points available. Central location near canal and river. Easy walk from station.
