Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station. The room is very spacious and comfortable, and the hot water for taking a shower is also very comfortable. A 3-minute walk from the city center, there are many restaurants to choose from around. It's very quiet at night, you can park, it's a great experience! I will stay again next time!

My host provided great recommendations for dining and exploring including an invitation to attend a chefs tasting at her companion hotel in Bled, Villa Adora.

Bled is heaving with tourists and it is impossible to park and parking is ludicrously expensive. The name garden paradise is perfectly apt!!! A TREASURE.

They brought us some food and drink. The location was awesome. No noise and close to all the main sites we wanted to see. The greatest surprise of all was to find that we were only 10 minutes drive from the border with Italy and Austria. So we explored the Fusino Lakes and had dinner in Tarvisio.
