Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station. Everything was perfect. The view from the room was beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was nice and friendly and the room was comfortable. I would highly recommend this place especially for someone, who prefes the older more rustic, vintage design over the new modern minimalistic design.

Boasting an indoor swimming pool and a spa centre, a 4-star superior Bled Rose Hotel enjoys a unique location right behind the Spa Park and only 150 metres from Bled Lake. Superb breakfast, great views from the room, actually we got better room for free, super friendly staff.

The pool was the perfect respite after hiking. My host provided great recommendations for dining and exploring including an invitation to attend a chefs tasting at her companion hotel in Bled, Villa Adora.

It's a great place, away from the city where you might have crowds (especially in summer), cosy and clean. We were visiting Bled in October, so it was quite cold to swim in the pond, even though some of us jumped in for a couple of seconds:))) I can imagine it's also very nice in summer. In the kitchen we had everything necessary to prepare meals, and the communication with the hosts was quick and effective. I would definitely return!

The views from the terrace were magnificent having the Julian Alps in front of us. Having a private jacuzzi on the balcony was a great experience! The hosts were very hospitable. They brought us some food and drink. The location was awesome. No noise and close to all the main sites we wanted to see. The greatest surprise of all was to find that we were only 10 minutes drive from the border with Italy and Austria. So we explored the Fusino Lakes and had dinner in Tarvisio.
