Beautiful family run hotel. Very family friendly. Lovely breakfast with a great continental style breakfast spread and eggs cooked to order. We had food both nights. The first night we had cold meat platter with tomatoes fresh from garden. Delicious. The second we had the 4 course dinner with wine pairings. They also cooked a special dinner for a fussy eater. The kids loved the small pool that they had to themselves alot. We loved the countryside and the wine. The owners were very helpful with helping us book a wine tour and taxi. We were all very lonely to leave.

Set within 17 km of The Škocjan Caves and 20 km of Trieste Train Station in Sežana, Apartments Kras 24 with Pool offers accommodation with seating area. The apartment was new, very well appointed (the kitchen was stocked with items for cooking), and the hostess extremely welcoming. She greeted us with a charcuterie board and wine and was available for any questions we had. The property was close to the highway and freeway so getting around was very easy.

Set in Dutovlje, 19 km from Trieste Train Station, G House offers accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. We had a two-room apartment with a huge balcony overlooking the vineyards. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with the owners while we were there. We had the added breakfast and it was amazing! G House was super nice and a good location for exploring the area’s wineries and farms. I recommend.

There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.... The location was great, with a phenomenal view into Italy over their vineyards. The breakfast was nice and the host, Nena, made us eggs to order each morning with freshly brewed coffee to boot. We made liberal use of the sauna and pool and in room wines! Very happy with our stay and would recommend any one who is looking to relax to stay at Villa Vajta.

Glamping Senesalina is situated in Kojsko and has a private pool and garden views. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. Host was really nice and pleasant.

Featuring pool with a view, garden and views of pool, Škerlj Wine Estate is located in Tomaj, 18 km from Trieste Train Station. Everything was great & beautiful, but the special round of applause goes to the host who was truly amazing & made you feel like home from the second you check-in. Truly outstanding experience, both in terms of hospitality and wine. This is also a great starting point for your Teran wine experience in Karst. The host will tell you all about the do’s and dont’s of the region so you can enjoy your time to the fullest. If you want to just chill and relax with a view, this place has you covered as well. We couldn’t be more satisfied, it is a definite „go!” in our book.

The location was perfect, with beautiful views overlooking the vineyards and surrounding area. The room was modern and very clean and they even provided us with a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary which made the occasion feel very special. Finally breakfast in the morning was huge, locally sourced and very tasty!
