The hotel grounds are large, well-maintained, and very beautiful. The rooms are clean, with daily housekeeping, comfortable beds, and crisp white linens. Each room has a large TV with internet access — we were able to watch YouTube easily. The Wi-Fi is excellent. The bathroom is fully equipped with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Towels are changed daily. Breakfasts are varied and delicious, including hot dishes, local cuisine, fresh pastries, and plenty of fruits. Tables are cleaned quickly, so there’s always space available. The front desk staff are true professionals, always ready to help. You can rent a bike or a car at the hotel. A free electric minicar runs from the hotel to the town center. And the highlight — several times a day, elephants are brought to the beach. This was incredibly unusual and exciting, adding a real sense of adventure to our stay.

Santhiya Koh Chang Resort offers modern rooms on Klong Prao Beach, which is part of National Marine Park on the Gulf of Thailand. It features an outdoor pool and restaurant.

The atmosphere of the hotel is truly unique — a temple-like, cozy, meditative oasis filled with distinctive details. The interior is beautifully decorated with hand-carved wood and natural materials. Every wall, pillar, and ceiling panel seems to tell its own story — with elephant and botanical carvings, intricate mirrors, patterns, furniture etc. The view from the breakfast table is an experience in itself — mountains and a river, with birds gliding overhead. The food is fresh and varied, offering both Asian and Western choices. Breakfast was accompanied by live, authentic instrumental Thai music. Coffee is prepared to your preference. The private plunge pool in the room was a little cool, but the stunning panorama more than made up for it, especially bathed in the magic of morning sunlight. The walk down to the beach inside the complex is lush and green, and in the evenings the pathways and trees are beautifully lit. The staff is attentive and always smiling. The couples massage with our chosen oils, along with the rituals before and after, was a perfect wellbeing experience. In summary — an exceptionally beautiful, nature-immersed place to stay with exquisite handcrafted interiors. Excellent breakfast, special atmosphere, postcard-worthy views straight from the room.This place truly honours the name Santhiya — serene, soulful and filled with quiet beauty. This is a great place to stay. Away from the crowds in a peaceful beach setting. The resort is beautiful and well-maintained, the bungalow is clean and comfortable and the views are stunning. Last but not least: Pen and her staff are super friendly and welcoming. We felt at home instantly and had a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

The bungalows are confortable and very clean, with good AC and enough hot water, far enough from each other so that you don’t hear the neighbours. The whole neighbourhood is calm but within walking distance (10 min max) from several great restaurants, places where you can rent a scooter and a beach. The owners Manu and Cecile propose super good and generous à la carte breakfast, which is extremely affordable. I strongly recommend you also enjoy a drink in their bar with great atmosphere and better prices than many places around. The pool and their super cute dog running around is also a big plus :). Finally, Manu and Cecile really went above and beyond to recommend us the best activities to do on the island based on our preferences. They even booked a snorkeling trip and transportation for us. Thanks to them we had amazing time on Koh Chang and will surely be back one day!

Wonderful situation, far enough from the noisy bustle of the town. Serene and tranquil bay, perfect for a bit of canoeing. The food was really delicious, and we enjoyed the happy hour cocktails. Our villa was situated right on the beach between the pool and the restaurant, but remained quiet and peaceful.
