We had 2 beachfront villas and it was amazing to wake up right on the beach. This is also a particularly nice stretch of beach as well, very clean. The staff did a good job keeping the place clean and tidy, especially since it’s easy for sand to get everywhere. The food in the restaurant was also really good at every mealtime.

I loved this place so much. Driving the last 200 meters up to Alisa’s from the main tarmac road brought you through local area with hens, children and lastly at the very end of the road to the garden of Eden, that Alisa and her husbond David had created with outmost care and imminent taste for beauty and tranquility. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in, besides my own back home. The peacefulness at Alisa’s was only enhanced by the occasional hens, hornbills and other birds, but besides these natural sounds, Alisa was quiet and totally peaceful. Now with WiFi, possible to rent their scooter, they can arrange all kinds of tickets, including shuttle to Bangkok or the airport with pickup directly at Alisa’s. I visited all the beaches at Koh Chang, and besides Klong Kloi at the very south, then Kai Bai beach had a secluded and intimate charm, that the other beaches could not match. Watching the bathing elephants in the morning was an experience of delight, seeing how much these great creates enjoyed the refreshment. Alisa’s is totally new and not only spotless, but also in very delicate and soothing colors. David and Alisa kept a discretion to my second daily visitors, and always made sure to be indoor when I came home accompanied. The only minor little inconvenience, is that I had to drive 3-4 minutes in the morning to reach Kai Bai beach for a morning swim, but the reward was instant, almost entirely alone on this beautiful beach with its tranquil and warm water.

It was a wonderful stay, everything was perfect for me and my wife: surroundings, location, room and area design, comfortable beds, a lot of space in rooms for a modest price, very tasty food, free coffee every morning (very tasty). Also we liked the big pool with a bar counter right next to it so you can sit and sip some whiskey without leaving the pool, it was nice! The owner of the hotel, was super nice, the rest of the stuff was also very nice and caring Hotel owner took us and other guests to bars and restaurants several times, made a BBQ party for us at the beach nearby the hotel, the atmosphere was so cozy and warming Also here you can rent a bike from the hotel, order transfer from and to the airport, and stuff will help you to order nice trips around the island. Also there is a coffee shop at hotel’s territory where you can truly relax and have a good time, pretty convenient! Definitely returning next time, highly recommend this place!

Amazing and very stylish hotel. It's located on the quiet street far from the road noise. The beach is very beautiful and shared with only one more hotel so there are not so many people, almost none in the end of September. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with European and Thai food. Room on the third floor is very big and with terrace instead of small balcony like on the second floor. There are several nice cafes on the beach also Thai massage. 7eleven is very close and bike rent as well. 15 min by bike from the white sand beach and 5 min from Kai Bae Beach with lots of restaurants and bars.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They always give advice on where to go and what to do. I checked out at 7 a.m., and they prepared breakfast boxes for us. I really like the resort; it is not too big or overcrowded, making it very quiet. I was looking for a peaceful place to relax, and this resort met my expectations. The room is beautiful, and the location is excellent. It is a bit far from the main street (but still walkable), which is very good because it provides a quiet and peaceful environment. The food at the restaurant is very tasty and delicious.

It was very peaceful place, close to some shops by the main road, close to the beach. They provided chairs to chill out at the beach. The room was quiet. Room cleaning service was excellent everyday. Bed was comfy, bathroom wasn't something I'm used to but served it's purpose well (probably very Thai style). The staff at the reception desk would always help us out and provide information. Restaurant by the beach was very good if you ordered a'la carte.

Transfer from and to the airport, breakfast, staff, beautiful gardens, snorkeling, trips around the island.. and what we love most - the view from our room to the mountains and, of course, the pool, which was part of our room and from which we enjoyed the beautiful view 🙂

We had a nice room with great balcony of nice view. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, every day they cleaned our room. The breakfast was really amazing, lot of choices. Staff was really nice, you can rent motorbike or kayak at the hotel or order a taxi. Everyone were very smiley and nice.

A lovely island in 90% covered with national parks. If you are looking for a real experience, this is the place. Rent a scooter and explore 7 waterfalls, jungle trails and mangrove forests. Amazing location and beach.

Amazing location and beach. Can walk out the door to the beach barefoot 50 metres away, restaurants line the beach with overhanging shady trees and shallow calm water for kids to play in for hours, beach swings, sand suitable for sandcastles, can eat, play and chillax all day on the beach having a beer on a beach chair watching the children play in the Natural Adventure Playground, and if you forgot something Bann Seamé is just a minute away.

A wonderful stretch of beach, one of the nicest on Koh Chang to be fair. Nice and clean, quiet and peaceful. I stayed a 5 min bike ride away at the reggae place. I ate at the wonderful little shack just on the bend as you reach the beach, a mother and daughter making great som tam, Laab, Nam Tok, iced coffee etc

Koh Chang is a step into yesteryear with an cruisy relaxed vibe. I enjoyed discovering the island by scooter, which had the well paved roads between beaches and jungle. The island boasts many great white Sandy beaches synonymous with the Thai image as well as rocky coastline for those interested in snorkelling . Overall the prices were reasonable,I rode an elephant and enjoyed visiting a sensational water fall. The sunsets were sensational. I was there for 5 nights and would liked to have stayed longer. Koh Chang really is a special tropical paradise, a place where you can recalibrate as a human being.
