Great location, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, restaurant is great, food was very good and drinks too for a good price, the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in!! The area they have on the beach had plenty of day beds for all the guests to relax.

Great place! The place has at the moment only 4 bungalows, so very relaxing! Just about 15 min walk to the beach. We had a wonderful stay at the Drifters Anchor! Wonderful view, great breakfast, great staff/owner !! Ben the owner also made a very nice birthday basket with cake and champagne for my husbands day. As its a 10min hike up to the Drifters Anchor, the staff will pickup your luggage down at the mainstreet. We will definitely come back !!

Jop was by far the best reviewed option in Kai Bae where there was a local Speed Boat service we had intended to leave. The owners booked our taxi’s to JoP and the speedboat tickets for the following day which we couldn’t do ourselves online. Olivier and Natasha were amazingly diligent in responding to all our messages prior to arriving. Once there, they made everything reassuring which makes a world of difference travelling with a 3 year old.

perfect place! Quite spacious bungalows. There is everything you need inside. fast internet, kettle, large refrigerator. Normal sized tea cups. The owner of the hotel is a wonderful person! Helps from the heart. There are no insects in the room if the food is in the refrigerator. good quality bed linen. The bed is flat, comfortable, not much harder than usual. You can rent a bike here. Nearby is the territory of a national park and a waterfall there, where tourists are often taken.

Wonderful stay with excellent service I stayed at Coconut Hotel and was truly satisfied with my experience. The breakfasts were excellent and very diverse: several types of meat, fish, two kinds of soups, fresh fruits, yogurts, desserts, and eggs cooked to order. There was always a great selection, and everything was delicious. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided every day — cleanliness was at a very high level. The location is great: massage places are within walking distance (including massage on the beach), a supermarket nearby, and a taxi stop with easy access to the central area full of restaurants. I would especially like to mention the manager, Thanida, who responded promptly to my request regarding noisy neighbors. Thanks to her attention and care, my stay became максимально comfortable and peaceful. The staff was very polite, friendly, and attentive. I would be happy to stay here again and can truly recommend this hotel.

Amazing and very stylish hotel. It's located on the quiet street far from the road noise. The beach is very beautiful and shared with only one more hotel so there are not so many people, almost none in the end of September. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with European and Thai food. Room on the third floor is very big and with terrace instead of small balcony like on the second floor. There are several nice cafes on the beach also Thai massage. 7eleven is very close and bike rent as well. 15 min by bike from the white sand beach and 5 min from Kai Bae Beach with lots of restaurants and bars.

We absolutely loved this place! We had initially booked the Junior Suite for the 2nd half of our stay but didn’t end up moving there because we liked King room with Pool view actually more. The rooms are newly built with high quality look and finishes. We really loved the spacious and well thought through room. There were sockets in the right places, a place to put your luggage up, a beautiful bathroom and just a generally nice room. We also loved the location; far away from the touristy areas but still great restaurants and fun things to do around. The staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Super friendly staff and helpful. Great restaurant. Great white and wide sandy beach with hardly anyone, probably 1km long. Also clean swimmingpool. Quiet area but easy to go around on a motorbike you can rent there or 5 minute walk away is another motorbike rent who I used 1 day. My second time there and love it. This is not in the "party area" but stands there on it´s own where you can relax and enjoy the beach and sun.

White wooden family bungalows are spacious and comfortable, we liked that they were further away from the reception/restaurant area, as it was calm and quiet. Nice beach. Very pleasant staff, quickly reacts to all requests. The nearest village just a few kilometres away - if you rent a scooter, you have a lot of choices of cheep food, fruits, massages, etc. In general, cheap island.

Great resorts, snorkeling and a "chill" atmosphere.

Great resorts, snorkeling and a "chill" atmosphere. Take a look for a good taxidriver... -Then roads are narrow and some of the drivers are driving the loaded taxies like racing cars. (From the ferry to the resort, we passed one car that had just driven off the road and 4 dogs in the middle of the road which almost caused 3 scooters also driven off the road). We came to the island at the same time that some of the first countries (not our country) made Koh Chang "red zone", because of the Cambodian conflict. -It was quiet and peaceful, although we could hear the cannons along the border from time to time. We hope for peace soon, så that more guests can return to this beautiful island again.

A wonderful stretch of beach, one of the nicest on Koh Chang to be fair. Nice and clean, quiet and peaceful. I stayed a 5 min bike ride away at the reggae place. I ate at the wonderful little shack just on the bend as you reach the beach, a mother and daughter making great som tam, Laab, Nam Tok, iced coffee etc

Sylvan is vertical resort and beautiful. They do a great job helping you get around. Expensive but you get your moneys worth. Great staff, great views, Santhiya Tree was impressive but probably looked really nice 8 years ago. Over priced, hard to find. No sign to long entrance road. Restaurant named Apple Kitchen at entrance was great and very inexpensive. I’m 80 and my wife is 83. They gave us the top floor with no elevator. Steps are uneven in height so be careful. A real workout. Breaks my heart to see the wood rotting from neglect. Next resort is Lagoon Prince. Stayed here many times. Old resort, good value, closer to ferry. White Sand Beach is great at night. Food up the beach at Soul & Sand is excellent. Every resort on the beach has a good vibe. From high end to very economy.
