Everything was perfect! It is a very new and beautiful resort directly at the beach. Stuff was really friendly and I loved especially the yoga classes. I also liked the live music in the evening, we heard some very good musicians! We would definetely come again!

The owners Luc and Ben were extremely welcoming and cheerful ! The view is breathtaking. The breakfast, one of the best we had in Thailand and the bungalow is clean, confortable and cosy. We recommend heartfully this place if you want a little more sunshine in your vacation !

The vibe there is very welcoming and relaxed. Main area for everyone to chill is is beautifully decorated and I always felt welcome to come there to hang out. The owners were super nice and always willing to help out. For me the location was also perfect, very calm and quiet area to really relax.

The stay here was perfect. I will just list a few points: Pick up in Bangkok by limousine, a very nice and safe driver. A truly fantastic, very quiet location of the hotel. Large, beautifully furnished and very clean rooms, the room service is also very good. A very extensive breakfast buffet with a large and absolutely sufficient selection. A very clean and well-kept beach with enough spots, even in the shadow. A large selection of thai and international dishes at dinner. The food is absolutely top class and beautifully presented. It almost looks like a Michelin-star restaurant. Finally, a note about the staff. No matter where you are in the hotel or who you are dealing with, everyone is incredibly friendly and courteous without exception and of course very helpful, no matter what your request is. A stay here can really be described as a dream vacation.

We had an amazing stay at the resort. The rooms are new, beautifully furnished, and have everything you need. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of delicious Thai dishes that changed daily, as well as plenty of Western options. The beach in front of the resort is truly one of the most beautiful in Thailand. There are plenty of sunbeds available, and the staff can bring food and drinks directly to your lounger or the pool, which was a wonderful touch. A few times a week there’s also a fire show on the beach — such a fun experience. But the very best part were the massages at the resort. The therapists are incredible, and the massages were some of the best we’ve ever had. Overall, an outstanding place to relax and enjoy Thailand!

We stayed in Villa 1, which was just so lovely and peaceful. The view is amazing, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom beautiful and everything is very peaceful. The hotel has giant floaties that you can moor in front of the villa and put a floating cushion on. I spent the afternoon being rocked by the waves and reading my book. Not one for families with young children as there is nothing to prevent them from falling into the water. Ideal for everyone else, so long as you are looking for peace and not parties. I would stay here again and have recommended to friends.

We stayed at the Paradice beachfront villa and it was absolutely perfect in terms of location. On a quiet, good beach, only the beach villas have their own sun loungers on the beach, so an almost private beach in an otherwise busy area. It was nice to lie down in the villa's terrace lounge area for days and sometimes take a dip in the sea. The villa was new and modern, clean. The beach location was the thing here, you didn't have to queue for sun loungers at the hotel pools.

If you’re looking for peace & quiet with exceptional views, The Bhuvarin is definitely the place for you on Koh Chang. I would recommended paying the little extra for a prime villa as the view from the room is worth every penny. Very friendly staff but also extremely helpful. Tip : It’s worth renting a scooter directly from reception as they will assist you with renting one upon your arrival !

Food at the restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced. The hotel was mid point on the busy side of the island, making most of the attractions only a quick drive away. The pool bar was a great place to have an afternoon swim and a drink if you felt so inclined.

Great resorts, snorkeling and a "chill" atmosphere.

Great resorts, snorkeling and a "chill" atmosphere. Take a look for a good taxidriver... -Then roads are narrow and some of the drivers are driving the loaded taxies like racing cars. (From the ferry to the resort, we passed one car that had just driven off the road and 4 dogs in the middle of the road which almost caused 3 scooters also driven off the road). We came to the island at the same time that some of the first countries (not our country) made Koh Chang "red zone", because of the Cambodian conflict. -It was quiet and peaceful, although we could hear the cannons along the border from time to time. We hope for peace soon, så that more guests can return to this beautiful island again.

Amazing location and beach.

Amazing location and beach. Can walk out the door to the beach barefoot 50 metres away, restaurants line the beach with overhanging shady trees and shallow calm water for kids to play in for hours, beach swings, sand suitable for sandcastles, can eat, play and chillax all day on the beach having a beer on a beach chair watching the children play in the Natural Adventure Playground, and if you forgot something Bann Seamé is just a minute away.

A wonderful stretch of beach, one of the nicest on Koh Chang to be fair. Nice and clean, quiet and peaceful. I stayed a 5 min bike ride away at the reggae place. I ate at the wonderful little shack just on the bend as you reach the beach, a mother and daughter making great som tam, Laab, Nam Tok, iced coffee etc

Sylvan is vertical resort and beautiful. They do a great job helping you get around. Expensive but you get your moneys worth. Great staff, great views, Santhiya Tree was impressive but probably looked really nice 8 years ago. Over priced, hard to find. No sign to long entrance road. Restaurant named Apple Kitchen at entrance was great and very inexpensive. I’m 80 and my wife is 83. They gave us the top floor with no elevator. Steps are uneven in height so be careful. A real workout. Breaks my heart to see the wood rotting from neglect. Next resort is Lagoon Prince. Stayed here many times. Old resort, good value, closer to ferry. White Sand Beach is great at night. Food up the beach at Soul & Sand is excellent. Every resort on the beach has a good vibe. From high end to very economy.
