This was my fourth time staying here, but this time I chose the hotel building instead of the villa and was just as satisfied. The staff were as friendly and welcoming as always, making the stay enjoyable. The location is nice, slightly away from the center, but the area has grown a lot over the years, with plenty of restaurants and facilities nearby. Breakfast offers a good selection with a large variety, and there’s a parking spot available for those driving. A great bonus is the free shuttle to the beach and the departure point to Railay Beach, making it very convenient for exploring. Overall, another great stay, and I’ll definitely return!

Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort - SHA Extra Plus is a 5-star property situated on the white sands of peaceful Klong Muang Beach. It features large outdoor pools in tropical gardens, a day spa and Fitness Center. Everything about the place is beautiful. Upon arriving we are directed to the designated check in space. They explain about the facilities and perks of the club stay. When booking i message them saying its for my spouse birthday. They go extra mile to decor the room and prepare him a birthday cake. All the staff were lovely and friendly. The resort was very big. There were private beach and bar next to it. We spend one afternoon relaxing by the bar and enjoying the sunset. Everything was perfect. The in-room dining was delicious too! Thank you dusit thani krabi resort for making our stay in krabi a memorable one. We will come back again!

Make sure you KNOW these things before you book, this is NOT a party island with a beach strip front. You also CANT swim on the beach here. It is remote, quiet and peaceful. Don’t come here if you’re looking to be entertained. As long as you know those things, you’ll have a great time! We LOVED how remote this was. It was fun taking the long boat and Tuk Tuk and really cool getting to experience a smaller, less populated island. Islanda Resort itself was GORGEOUS. Well staffed and beautiful rooms with a really fun indoor/outdoor set up. The outdoor shower is a DREAM!!! The bath amenities were also incredible, smelled amazing and I’ve already ordered some for my home. I’d definitely recommend bringing an eye mask as the rooms do get quite bright in the morning. The staff was amazing, so kind and help and spoke English well. They made the whole process very smooth. The infinity pool was gorgeous and well maintained. Loved the floating beanbags!! Would absolutely recommend the panang curry and the lychee martinis!! We also appreciated there being a gym on the property! And there were lots of cats to pet which was lovely.
