This was a peaceful and secure place to stopover as we didn't want to drive all the way back to Joburg before our departing flight. Huge room, huge and lovely bathroom with shower and giant clawfoot tub, large and well maintained yard. We are birders and enjoyed seeing all of the birds coming and going from the birdbaths and mature trees in the backyard. There were even some Hadada Ibis nesting in one of the trees.

Ungava Retreat is a hidden gem that we couldn't recommend more highly!

Its a pity it rained a lot when I was there and so did not experience the garden the way I would have wanted. Provided the place the available next time, I'm definitely making a booking there. Pero de verdad , que lastima no haberme quedado más días .
