Overall, it was a perfect retreat for reconnecting with nature and unwinding.

The chef is amazing! The quality of food is good. The chef was very happy to make customizations for me that I really appreciated. This property does the Western colonial style menu often featured at safari lodges - they do it well, but I am not a fan so much of this approach to menu design.

Situated at the heart of Livingstone City Centre, within a historic 19th century colonial building, New Fairmount Hotel blends historical architecture with contemporary interior design. I really loved my stay! Friendly staff always smiling and ready to help with anything. Room was spacious, very tidy and cleaning was very good. Hotel restaurant had authentic delicious Indian food and menu had alot of options. Breakfast was also great and the hotel pool was nice and clean. I felt really safe and the hotel is in good location. Thank you all Fairmount workers for everything especially Allan, I will definitely be back❤️.
