- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 467 reviewsThe location was amazing. Right in the heart of nature with mountains and waterfalls all around. The room was great with a window that opened to the view of the waterfalls. Breakfast was amazing. Very extensive buffet. A bar and outside patio was also a welcome bonus to sit outside and take in the views. Hiking trails all around. Very tranquil place to retreat to.Guest review byEleanorUnited States
- From $88.11 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 556 reviewsThere was a good view of the mountains from the road. They give a complimentary bottle of wine at check in.. they did have a pool and a playground for kids. The grocery store didn't bother to turn on lights, so it was hard to see what they had. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple more euros to stay in one of the hotels nearby.Guest review byPeggyUnited States

Beautiful, well-kept, clean and safe. Everything is within a reasonable walking distance. Old Town is very nice. The shopping areas are full of people, but the crowds are manageable. The scenery is a daily bonus. You can see everything in 3-4 days.Guest review bymshomakerSpain - 10.0

Vielha is located in the center of the Vall d'Aran: one of the most wonderful mountain regions in the area. It is very beautiful, no matter the season. Staying in Vielha allows convenient access to a lot of hikes, and is a good base for skying. Additionally, it has a lot of life and shops.Guest review byRogerSweden - 10.0

We always stop overnight in Jaca whilst driving from Spain to the UK or visa versa as it is just off the motorway and has all the amenities you would need and is a lively, friendly place and the hotels are of a very high standard at a very good price.Guest review byTechno OrangeUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Good ski domain and easy access to the slopes.
Good ski domain and easy access to the slopes. Well managed ski slopes and helpful welcoming people all around. The only issue is the noisy nature of the town with a lot of drunk people shouting at night. The smell of joints is also very common everywhere, including on the chair lifts, almost as common as in Amsterdam before the change of rules. This should be better managed as I had not noticed this when I came 8 years ago. Shopping is limited if you don’t want cigarettes, alcohol, make up. A lot less options than a few years ago. Found lots of good restaurants with a wide variety of food options at reasonable value. Overall, a good base for skiing but with compromises.Guest review bycarolineUnited Kingdom - 10.0

'Old' Ainsa is a relatively small but beautiful and interesting place. Our stay coincided with the end of their village festival, so there was plenty going on. On two nights we ate at a restaurant a couple doors down from the hotel, which specialised in pizzas but had many other options too - this was good, well-priced food, served very efficiently. We were based in Ainsa for quick access to the surrounding Pyrenees, and enjoyed two fabulous walks (Portal de la Cunarda and the Valle de Pineta). There's a large and cheap car park just outside the town walls (3 euros for 24hrs). There's also a very interesting bird of prey centre - museum and recovery centre - well worth a visit!Guest review byMikeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Cable car trip up to Super Bagneres then lunch at the Chapel restaurant was excellent. Then we enjoyed the two hour sessions during the afternoon in the Spar. Luchon itself seemed surprising quiet in what is presumably its summer season.Guest review byJOHNFrance - 10.0

I visited Benasque to compete in the Vuelta al Aneto trail race. The race started and ended in Benasque. Benasque is a great base for outdoor activities (hiking, trail running, mountain biking) with many shops providing gear and support for your adventures. My friends who visited with me are not into outdoor adventures, but enjoyed the beautiful town, restaurants and bars immensely.Guest review byAndrewAustralia - 10.0

I was there for the World MTB championships and the organisation for getting to and from the bike park was excellent. There were plenty of buses available to the gondola to access the bike park. I also had a days hiking where I found the route very well sign posted with paths and bridges well kept.Guest review byTracyUnited Kingdom
