Just fabulous: the view on the river from the lodge, and from the restaurant is beautiful, the rooms are just amazing and so well equipped, the size of the beds are incredible!
And the activities organized by the lodge are really great: we did both the boat trip and the game drive. And we will remember them for a long time!

The room, the breakfast, the bar quality, everything excellent! The owners really care about their guests and did everything possible to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
The owner of the facility accompanied us on a boat tour in the area and he explained to us a lot about the local wildlife.
He was super nice to us and he also suggested the local souvenir shop which was a gem for our trip.
Definitely recommended!

The setting, right on the river, was beautiful. The garden was magical. The boat trip was fantastic and by far the cheapest, and one of the highlights of our holiday. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The description given was not accurate. The chalets we had were not selfcatering and all we could do was BBQ. There were no pots or pans, no microwave or stove top. The island bar was lovely and the views of the river were superb. The chalets were not on the island as we thought and there are only 5 tents on the island itself.
