Very nice house with river view. Kitchen is fully equipped with spices, oil,... you only need to bring your food. Even candle lights. Nice bar for sunset.

The setting, right on the river, was beautiful. The garden was magical. The boat trip was fantastic and by far the cheapest, and one of the highlights of our holiday. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Everything is very well organized, there is nothing unnecessary extra, but everything is just to the point. You can prepare dinner and breakfast in the outdoor kitchen, large refrigerator. The main thing is the price/quality ratio. I have never seen anything like this in Namibia. I definitely recommend this place.

The description given was not accurate.
The description given was not accurate. The chalets we had were not selfcatering and all we could do was BBQ. There were no pots or pans, no microwave or stove top. The island bar was lovely and the views of the river were superb. The chalets were not on the island as we thought and there are only 5 tents on the island itself.
If you're planning a longer trip, look beyond Dirico and set off to explore the whole country!
