Very helpful staff and good breakfast

This hotel is simply beautiful. The whole complex is a mix of old colonial architecture and modern facilities. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The interior design was very classy and chic. There are nice amenities, including a swimming pool. There is also a beautiful terrace with a great view of the Paraná River. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were great—friendly and helpful.

Beautiful rooms. Biggest swimming pools with space for everyone. Great service and friendly atmosphere at the pool bar. Reception staff were 10/10.

Excellent location, rooms, catering and customer services

We have organised a transfer with the taxi that the hotel recommended us and it was a life saver since we arrived at the airport in Iguazu on the Brazilian side and Mercure Hotel is in the Argentinian side. The taxi driver helped us through customs and since the waiting time at argentinian side of the border we were supposed to wait more than 2 hours. Our taxi driver was thinking out of the box and arranged with a colleague from the Brazilian side to bring us as close as they could to the argentinian border. Our driver waited for us there and we skipped the line by crossing the border by foot in this way we were in no time at the hotel and ready to start our vacation. I warmly recommend Sergio and his colleagues, he made our stay unforgettable.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were truly customer-oriented: communication was easy and pleasant from the start, everyone was very friendly, and we even received a room upgrade, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was excellent, and the territory feels safe and well-organized. There’s convenient parking on site, and it was a nice bonus to have massage services available. We also loved the small mini-shop with all the essentials - super handy when you need something quickly. Lunches were great as well (unlimited for just 35,000 per person) and definitely worth it. Overall, a very comfortable stay with outstanding service - we’d happily come back.

One of the best hotels in Iguazú with tremendous breakfast.

Contrary to the negative reviews, I had an excellent stay! The hotel is older, but very comfortable! It is filled with lots of beautiful wood door panels and other furniture. The room was spacious and spotless, the bed comfortable, and water was hot with good pressure. The bath towels were thick, but I did not receive hand towels. The taps are original, and were once elegant but didn’t work perfectly. The hallway carpets were loose from years of housekeeping carts rolling on them. The room had new wood laminate floors. There wasn’t no bad smell at all. There are several pools and they seemed clean, though I didn’t swim. Breakfast was excellent: hot foods, bread and pastries, full fruit trays, and hot and cold beverages. The location is on the main road, but not really close to downtown shops or restaurants. The hotel does have a restaurant/ dining room, though I only ate breakfast there. It is close to the animal rescue refuge Güira Oga and tourist stop La Aripuca. Though it isn’t exactly a five star hotel, it still boasts many features from its luxurious past.

The hotel staff is quite generous and helpful. We were able to check-in even after midnight and we had a lovely stay for a night. The breakfast was arranged before the scheduled time for us on our request. Also the breakfast spread was huge and the fruits were just delicious. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Highly recommend it.

Location is close to the bus terminal. Air conditioner worked well. Have hot shower. Breakfast is good in Argentina standard. Staff are nice.

Excellent location. Safe. Close to public transportation to Iguazu waterfalls and puerto Iguazú town ($3000 pesos each way and per person as for my stay days in mid april) if you like to walk you could go from the hotel to the Iguazú town. excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff members. Very responsive via WhatsApp (find them on Instagram). Would stay again if I come back
