True to its name, it is in the heart of the city! The lift is bucolic (reminds me of my childhood, lifts were like this), the room has a retro 70’s (the era I grew up) feel, colours of the Casa Rosada❤️🇦🇷 and updated with a modern bathroom, open closet space, enough power points with European plug sockets for equipment charging, flat screen tv and even a pink air conditioning fan coil to match! The señor who checked us in was kind to personally ensure I didn’t miss the turning into the car park. A personable team of staff with excellent inter-personal skills. The water dispenser at the lobby is a welcome apparatus much appreciated, I see a microwave oven and hot water dispenser for mate - indeed a kind hotel. Thank you.

On the lake of Rio Parana.

On the lake of Rio Parana. Lovely long parks, bikepaths, along lakefront. Lots of restaurants and finally spiced food. I recommend advance guard GenerationY .quite the malbec try the spiced shrimp cured in lime. Lots of birding and laggoons. Took train across to Encarnacion. One note Sierra time is observed and lots closed on Sunday and Monday.

Posadas is not only a huge riverwalk but a vibrant and clean...

Posadas is not only a huge riverwalk but a vibrant and clean city with extremely helpful inhabitants. The closeness to its neighboring Paraguayan city of Encarnacion gives it a mutual commercial boost that allows the city's developement to continue. I was truly amazed at how modern the city is and its relaxed vibe contrasts with the nightlife.

The elegant streets with wide tree-lined sidewalks, the kind people living here, the beautiful riverside... - it all adds to the gentle, relaxed vibe of Posadas! Definitely one of the best cities to visit in Argentina and all of Latin America!

While the city itself might lack in essential tourist items...

While the city itself might lack in essential tourist items to check off the list, Posadas was one of the friendliest, most welcoming, and all around comfortable small cities I've visited and as a base for seeing the nearby Jesuit ruins (as opposed to visiting them on a day tour from Puerto Iguazu, and with a day trip to the nearby Trinidad ruins in Paraguay—the most complete of the Jesuit Missions—if possible) anyone who has a few more days should opt for making their base here for a little while, strolling the downtown and costanera, enjoying the laid back vibes, and interacting with the lovely people.

The riverside boardwalk is lovely.

The riverside boardwalk is lovely. A great path to walk, ride bikes, or exercise. There were many spots without much shade from the sun, but you could go at certain times of day. There a great restaurant and cafe options in Posadas.

Excellent facilities and next level helpful staff. Good breakfast, very calm public facilities, hotel looks brand new. Swimming pool absolutely welcome in warm Posadas. Excellent AC and shower facilities. Hotel sits only 100m away from the bus station (for an interprovincial trip, or if you want to go San Ignacio ruins), or 150m away from local public transport, making it easy to reach the city center. Supermarket 3 minutes away. Very very generous and affordable portions at the local restaurant. All in all this is a solid 10 for a nice hotel.

Great location as we had a late flight and we were heading to Encarnacion, Paraguay in the morning for Carnival. Nice view from our balcony and an outside terrace where we had breakfast.Staff were helpful especially the guy on in the morning. He got us a price to arrange a taxi but we opted for the bus transfer which went well. You need to get the Bus 110 from the stop on the junction on the right of the hotel entrance. Then international bus to Paraguay. WiFi was okay.

The hotel is good value for money; it provides a good location (near the center/Costanera), fair comfort, and space. The room overall was very clean and quiet. The AC worked just fine for the warm days. The staff helped finding attractions/restaurants and offered the available closed parking (since no other guests were using it).

Location is good. But that is all. We needed a hotel as we were picked up to go to the Wetlands early in the morning. Otherwise we wouldn’t have stayed there.
