The hotel’s location is very central, with plenty of dining options and lovely spots for a short walk nearby. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety and high-quality food. We also had the chance to use the sauna, which was a very pleasant experience. The instructions were simple, and we had it all to ourselves for a great price of 15 EUR per person for 3hrs. We would definitely return!

The location and the building are really exceptional. The family who runs the hotel are so friendly and nice! They helped us around , while the season was low and the area rather empty. Breakfast was prepared in a very nice way , served on your table. We would certainly recommend the hotel.

The whole area, the lake, the resort position are awesome. Surrounded by forest and mountains, with a light blue lake in the middle. The resort is super typical Austrian style village. Our room was in a cozy and very nice wooden house. Right in front of us there is a resturant with bar that was always open and with a very kind personal. Breakfast was super and rich. I'll be back for sure.

The hotel is in a quiet location with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The staff is very kind and friendly both at the reception and in the restaurant. There is plenty of space in the sauna area. A great place for relaxation.Is possible to rent a regular bike for free.

We visited during April, and everything was still closed...

We visited during April, and everything was still closed since it isn't the main tourist season. It was nice and quiet and peaceful, but it was impossible to buy groceries. The Faaker Lake was very nice, but surrounded by private beaches and not very well accessible. However, it is a very convenient starting point for trips

The apartment is spacious & spotless .

The apartment is spacious & spotless . Built in a modern concept , wooden interior & large windows which allows more brightness to enter the place during the day and allows a better sighting of the stunning view of the surrounding nature which you can never get tired of. I truly loved this place & will definitely visit again soon.

Beautiful place.

Beautiful place. Lots of attractions around, walks, beautiful lake and mountains. We have been there for the second time. We visited the monkey mountain, Pyramidenkogel, Drei Länder eck - all within 30 min by car. And of course the lake which is beautiful

A beautiful place with stunning views and close by amenities for families. Plenty to do, plenty to see and well situated to visit lots of amazing places. There are many good restaurants and beaches, including the free Panorama Beach on the Faaker See.

Not sure I would spend much time on the lake TBH - one day...

Not sure I would spend much time on the lake TBH - one day is enough to walk around (about 10-11km) and a lot of that is on roads as the waterfront has many private homes. The north shore is a bit more accessible. But would a good base to explore the mountain near town.

Nice small town with a camp, beach, very close to the Slovenian border and the Karavanks mountain ridge (along the border of Austria and Slovenia). It's quite comfortable to get around on foot. Most restaurants / bistros are Austrian cuisine, there is a Greek and an Australian one.
