- From $163.14 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 575 reviewsThe location in the centre of the town is absolutely fabulous - in the middle of the Alps, yet only a few minutes drive from the Pyhrn Autobahn. The room was fine in a historic building with quite some charm created inside mostly by the wooden stairs and the furniture on the 1st floor - we liked it a lot. It was also well sound-insulated. We noticed the morning rush on the streets only after we opened the window in the morning. The hotel is accommodating and welcomes dogs, which is a plus. Even though in the center of the town, we had no problem to find a bit of greenery around to let our furry friend run around a bit. The lady at the reception desk was also very helpful, thanks! The breakfast was fine, rather standard - lots of choice and we could find everything according to our individual tastes. There's a good choice of restaurants in the vicinity too. All in all, we had a great stay - 1 night on our way from the north of EU to the south - we enjoyed the break and had a good time. We would stay anytime again. Oh, and the tasty spring water from the tap on the 1st floor! That is a nice touch - don't miss it!Guest review byPeterNetherlands
- From $234.73 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 63 reviewsThe renovation in this historical villa is very impressive. The original interior is preserved, but it also has all modern features. Elevator, very nice designed rooms, comfortable beds, top bathrooms. Food at the restaurant is nicely presented and tasty. The owners and staff are extremely friendly. I can highly recommend The Bergzauber Villa as a place for vacation at the beautiful mountains of Kalkalpen NP.Guest review byElenaAustria

Not only one of the most beautiful villages in Austria, but very interesting and important for its History. Remember to explore the manufacturing and industrial block, where workers used to live, on the Steyr dorf.Guest review byAlessandroItaly - 10.0

Very helpful and hospitable owners, flexible, smooth communication in English. The host provided us with the Phyrn-Priel Active Card for all days of our stay, which we appreciated. The location of Gästehaus Fortuna is ideal - near to grocery shop and to restaurants, still very quiet. Ideal to go around Hinterstoder or to drive to Vorderstoder or Spital.Guest review byMartinCzech Republic - 8.0

Nice small town, close to mountains so you can quickly go hiking or skiing or whatever you prefer. There is Aldo where you can buy food and a few restaurants. Not many of them were open during our stay though so we ended up buying pizza to go.Guest review byKláraCzech Republic - 10.0

We enjoyed the stay very much. We travelled with a big dog and a small baby and this apartment was clean, modern and very comfortable. The hostess was very friendly and we received some snacks in the fridge for free. I can recommend this accommodation and we will definitely return again :)Guest review byRiaanAustria - 8.0

Half a day is all it takes to spend in styer .. it looks like the town is one major old street from the middle ages , some coffee place and general shopping. The big attractions is the place where the two rivers merge . It's unique and beautifulGuest review byasafIsrael - 10.0
I like this place very much.
I like this place very much. It is a small picturesque village and perfect for skiing with children. You can walk everywhere and you will find a choice of restaurants to have a pleasant dinner. We went to Dorfstub'n, Jaidhaus and Stoda and all three were very nice. Due to Covid some of the other restaurants we called only serve own hotel guests, though. Hinterstoder is also worth a trip in summer if you like being active.Guest review byEsther - 6.0
I was here for one night on 5th October.
I was here for one night on 5th October. The town was dead but I have no doubt this is a wonderful place to stay in the summer for a walking or cycling holiday. In the evening there was only one restaurant open,Gasthof Gruber which was excellent. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was closed but as the town represented the Marie Celeste this was not surprising. Midweek in October is not a good time to come!Guest review byM MarchantGermany - 10.0
Steyr is a wonderful small town, with plenty to see.
Steyr is a wonderful small town, with plenty to see. Lots of beautiful nature, but also the incredible old town center. It's really easy to get around on foot, with lots of walkable streets and alleys to discover. I was really impressed by the beautiful architecture of the old catholic churches, which were absolutely breathtaking on the inside. The only thing I would prepare for better next time around is the everchanging weather. A good pair of waterproof shoes, an umbrella and layered clothing for easy removal is a must.Guest review byLjubicaSerbia - 10.0
Our summer trip to Wurzeralm was amazing.
Our summer trip to Wurzeralm was amazing. We took the Wurzeralm cable car and then the Frauenkar so we could get quite easily to the Ramesch peak (2119 m) even with kids. The lifts were free of charge with the pyhrn-priel AktivCard that we got from our accommodation provider.Guest review byRomanCzech Republic
