The apartment is close to the center of the town. There are two general stores (Billa and Spar) near the apartment. It is also close (5 minutes walk) to the cablecar that goes up the mountain to 2100 meters. It has a big balcony with view over the mountains. The host was very friendly and it was a pleasure to meet her. We received a Kartner Card that allowed us free trip with the cablecar up to 2100 meters, and many discounts at several touristic spots in the Kartner (Carinthia) region.

Spacious apartment that had everything we needed and more. Spotlessly clean, looks like it was built lately. Super insulated during cold days. Great location, a 5 minute walk to BILLA supermarket and the lake. The hosts were extremely nice and even helped us to reach a local doctor to check our daughter. Like in a lot of Carinthia area, hosts also speak mostly German. We used Google Translate from time to time and had no problem understanding each other.

Breakfast - tasteful, nothing I would call "exceptional", but really satisfactory, nothing important missing, or so. Frau Götz is very nice person - talkative, ready to help you, if needed. I really appreciated her friendly attitude to guests. Our children enjoyed the playground behind the house really a lot (plus there is one more inside the house). There are nice views from the rooms and the most beautiful Carinthian lake is within reach.

I enjoyed very much the location, the mountains, the rest, and the atmosphere was excellent. To taste the Austrian nature and culture was very beneficent. The communication with the hosts was excellent and the servant maid was also friendly and helpful. They gave me detailed and helpful information about the apartment and the surroundings. And it was a good price/quality ratio. My son and myself had an unforgettable time in Obervellach, Carinthia.

Real Gem in the heart of Carinthia! Warm place run by a friendly Presslauer Familly. Extremelly clean with special attention to small details - charming decorations, cookies and candies as compliment in the rooms. Food is freshly preoared, delicious traditional desserts and of course refreshing draft local beer Gosser. Just behind the hotel there are paths for hiking and short or longer walkings.

Thor gave us a great welcome. TH is a fantastic setting and these are modern and clean apartments. Although apartments, there are lots of additional services eg breakfast bakery, an honesty bar and sauna. Silbersee is on the shore of a charming lake which takes about 40 mins to walk. The skiing is good and a TopSki pass allows you to visit other Carinthian venues including Franz Klammer’s tours.

It is a spacious, very, very clean apartment, suitable for 3-4 adults with ease, got everything you need. We had a lovely time, 4 days of skiing in Carinthia area - so if you intend to drive to ski resort (Katschberg, Bad Kleinkirchheim, Moelltal Glacier, etc...), this is fine accommodation as a starting point, some slopes are closer, some further, but it is fine.

Very comfortable hotel with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Every detail has been thought through. We have never met such a hospitable family (hotel owners) anywhere. Hotel has its personal access to the lake - it is very important for a comfortable stay on any lake in Carinthia. If you come once you will return with practically 100%.

We were received and sent off by smiling faces always ready to help. The kids were pampered with ice creams, lollies and even honey. The Carinthia card which was provided is of excellent use for nearby trips / attractions. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, had everything that we needed plus great views. We will gladly return.

Joana and Frank's house is located in a quiet place with a beautiful view of the mountains. The apartment is nice, spacious and very clean. You can see that Joana and Frank have put a lot of heart into its arrangement. Joana and Frank are wonderful hosts and received us warmly. We recommend it as an ideal base for exploring Carinthia!

Amazingly located, with picturesque view to the valley, chalet is designed in traditional Austrian style, but carefully renovated, so it keeps soul of a tyrolian Gasthaus. It took around 30 minutes to reach big skiing area Nessfeld, but for kids there is few slopes nearby. We spend lovely weekend and want to come again to Carinthia

The apartment is located very near the St. Kathrein terme and park, also the cable car and bike park is near. Carinthia card was included. The apartment was well equiped, clean and well prepared. There is also a big balcony and basement to safely store bikes for example. I would recommended the apartment to friends and come again.

The place is clean and well maintained, there is a nearby cable car that is easy to access even by feet and others in the nearby village. In the summer the included Carinthia card is a must to do a lot of activities. There was a heater that was always on and the staff promptly fixed in not much time.

Amazing place to stay when you want to explore Carinthia with Karnten card. Everyone was really helpful and friendly, apartment was spacious and clean with everything you need for your stay. We even received homemade herbal gifts upon arrival, cold beverage and fresh milk for coffee ;-)

Little surprises bringing us joy during the stay: rabbits in the garden, Harry Potter-themed room for kids. The apartment is quite spacious, clean and well supplied with everything one could need. And Carinthia is a lovely region to visit and spend some time.

Amazing view, good old interior and exterior, very nice wine bar, pretty and professional staff — it was great two nights at the Carinthia Velden Hotel!.. And I was really surprised that our yellow lab also was allowed to stay with us in the room!..

Clean, good breakfast, all facilities available. Large outside kids playgroup, garden, location close to all carinthia attractions (lake Faak especially) , but also Slovenia be Italy are 20 min drive

The apartment was very clean and overall was comfortable and suited our needs. We also got Carinthia Cards which gave us discounts to many attractions. The kitchen was small but well equipped.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the location is perfect and the owner we went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. would highly recommended Carinthia Apartments!

Very warm and personal hospitality. Excellent breakfast and dinner. We will definitely stay at the hotel again in our next trip to Carinthia. We had a perfect vacation!
