The Blaue Rose is a high-quality, moderately priced hotel in the heart of the Alps. It is also brand new and run by a gentleman I have never met who showed me more care as a guest than I have received at 99 percent of the hotels I have booked in Europe over the past 45 years. The room perfectly fit my needs. The bed was comfortable, the bedding crisp, the shower, brand new, the silence outside was welcome (zero traffic noise), Feldkirch train station is within walking walking distance, and the path led through an idyllic Austrian mountain town, The design of the room was superior to the trendy and expensive boutique hotels I've stayed in in Manhattan, Berlin, and other cities. One judges the caring attitude of a hotel and its ownership and staff when things go wrong. I was very tired when I arrived and initially had a difficult time with the outsourced self-check in system and reported the issue. The hotel owner was so concerned with my problem that he thanked me for my comments, apologized profusely, and immediately upgraded the entire system to prevent future guests, including myself, from having to deal with similar issues. I visited Blaue Rose as an overnight before attending a meeting in Davos. I was happy to have had a place of serenity and a good night's sleep before dealing with the World Forum crowd. I will make a habit of visiting the Blaue Rose as a stop over between Vienna and Zug, Zurich, and other towns and cities of Switzerland.

What a great surprise after a long drive and a day's work! Whaouh effect ! High up in the mountains, with a breathtaking panorama, in the middle of the forest, a haven of peace offering peace and quiet, like a cocoon out of time. I was given a very warm and friendly welcome by the owner, Werner. I felt right at home in this magnificent hotel-villa, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. I savored every moment, and was allowed to take advantage of the pool despite my late arrival. Absolute bliss. A royal breakfast, and an almost family-like welcome in the early morning. My only regret was not arriving earlier. Many thanks to both of you for this interlude of well-being.

Breakfast is excellent, frankly it's better than what I expected. Very clean, and really convient place to access all the environments of Feldkirch. Lots of restraurants near the hotel, and nice view from the room.

The hosts are amazingly friendly. The rooms are so comfortable, the beds are great. The breakfast buffet is fabulous.

The Hotel Bären is just a 2-minute walk away from the historic centre of Feldkirch, and 400 metres for the main train station. It offers rooms with spacious bathrooms.
