The owner greeted us upon arrival and was very welcoming. Her energy and smile are absolutely contagious! Our room was perfectly clean and quite comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and included a meat/cheese/tomato/cucumber tray, baskets of assorted bread (with various spreads), and beverages (we had juice, water, and tea). You can also order omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. All of the dinner and dessert options we ordered were fresh and delicious. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. Ample parking, as there is a large adjacent lot in addition to parking directly in front of the building. This a is great place to stay if you're in town for any of the races at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.

A very nice hotel in a quiet and beautiful environment. The apartment is nicely and sufficiently furnished, the bonus is the balcony and nice view on the church and surroundings. Friendly staff was very helpful, dinner and breakfast were very tasty. We would like to return.

We were passing through for one night. We are vegetarians and this is usually a problem. However, the host welcomed us with great vegetarian dishes. At our request, we were offered a properly selected local wine for testing with each dish. It was a professional testing and pairing of wines with information about the wines tasted and their producers living nearby. Excellent wines. Breakfast was outstanding. A large selection of excellent quality dery and vegetables and bread.

There are also two spa in the village.

There are also two spa in the village. H2O is visited by many families with children. We preferred the Heilthermen. Here you could really relax in peace and quiet. There are also nice castles nearby (e.g. Herberstein) which are worth a visit.

Very clean and comfortable hotel that has an amazing play area for children. A 5 minute walk down the street there is a swimming pool with slides and play areas that is perfect for children. The hotel includes a free pass to this water park. Our children loved it and they are ages 10 and 8.

Wenigzell is a small and quiet village in Styria.

Wenigzell is a small and quiet village in Styria. If you have a car, it can be a great place to stay while exploring the area. In winter there are winter sports options near by and in the summer you can mostly hike. I was lucky to be there when the weather was nice and despite it being January i could hike for hours in the mountains and enjoy the beautiful scenery and the wonderful natural area around the village. The village itself doesn't have much to offer, there's one convenience store, a church, 2-3 shops which were mostly closed and that's about it. It is a perfect place, however, for those who want to get away from their busy life and simply disconnect.
