We had such a wonderful stay in this hotel. The bed is very comfortable. Although the room might seem a bit small, everything is made to be super practical. The bonus was the grounded coffee and the French press in the room. Such a great idea! And, thank you to the staff, everyone was so lovely.

I absolutely LOVE Melbourne.

I absolutely LOVE Melbourne. The food is great, the city is very easy to navigate, the free tram is fantastic. The city is clean, with plenty of lovely green areas and gardens. It is an eclectic collection of old and new. There are interesting markets within Melbourne, and within an hours drive. I’ve travelled extensively around the world, but Melbourne would have to be one of my favourite cities if not “the” favourite

Didn't like the road speed of some Geelong City precint drivers, but when we were hesitant they always made way for us on the way to the ferry, which has changes due to road works. It is easy to get around Geelong in daylight hours. Night time a bit trickier, so make sure you plan your route know exactly where you are going next before you set out.

If you like classic old buildings as we do, you will love Ballarat! So much history and so many breathtakingly beautiful buildings. We just could not tire of walking around the town. Not just the town centre, but also the residential areas. I have never seen so many beautiful period homes anywhere else. There are also many lovely places to eat, including the beautiful, historic hotels in the town centre, as well as little, low-key cafes in the 'burbs. PS: There is also an excellent bus service!

Good place to visit especially for a family vacation. It is a comfortable 3 hr journey by train from Melbourne if you want to get there comfortably. If you live in town it is easy to get around to all the attraction and transport available to go to Port Fairy and back.

I'm not a fan of winding roads, but apart from that, the sites are amazing. It's a must to visit the 12 Apostles, I think there are only 10 left, the other 2 were washed out to sea, but still brilliant to visit

No one to check in after 6:30pm even when the booking site said, check in available till 10:30pm. I fortunately called the reception at 5pm and they left key under the door mat. If I had not called I would have suffered in the middle of the night without any help. Pathetic hot water & heater. No hot water to take bath and it was cold ( 10 deg C )... all 3 of our family members struggled. And the worst part - rooms were super expensive. Not worth at all

Bendigo is an ideal weekend destination for a regional town...

Bendigo is an ideal weekend destination for a regional town stay, the city area is big enough to deliver enough convenience but small enough for there to be no issues with traffic or crowds. From breakfast to late night supper there are many very good venues open and available to choose from, and near the city centre most venues are only separated by a comfortable walk. We stuck to small boutique venues, the quality of food and service was excellent. not inexpensive but not over-priced either. We are not focussed on quantity over quality, we received good value for money.

This is a surprisingly well kept secret, what a great place.

This is a surprisingly well kept secret, what a great place. Although a bit out of the way it's a worth a stay of say 4-5 days in the cooler months. It's good to find out about the different types of grapes and what they're used for - not all for wine!!! The locals are only too happy to share their experiences and knowledge with you.

Port Campbell is a very small but very quaint town on a lovely harbor. Unfortunately the weather was very windy and cold the day we were there so we couldn't enjoy the beach, however we enjoyed the shops in the main street, offering the important things like coffee and food!
