This place is in a small and quiet village, perfect for exploring the countryside as well as nearby Tongeren and Maastricht on bike. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with a wide range of hot and cold food, with hot coffee and and fresh-squeezed orange juice brought to the table. There were lots of lovely touches- Rituals bath products; a mini fridge with complimentary champagne, water, and chips; soft toilet paper, a rain-shower and simultaneous sprayer in the bathroom, gourmet teas and a kettle in the room, air-co and climate control, etc. Very clean and modern, with comfortable bed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Located in a beautiful green park, Domaine La Butte aux Bois is a stylish hotel from 1924 with luxurious rooms and an elegant restaurant at the entrance of National Park Hoge Kempen. Very welcoming and comfortable. The staff went out of their way on both visits to make sure that my two small dogs and I were happy - the beds, bowls and treats for my dogs were much appreciated. My meals were truly delicious and as it happens, I had room service during my stay - all perfect and on time, including early breakfasts.
