I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. The restaurant served delicious food. The room offered an excellent view of the mountains, which was truly breathtaking. The spa was spotless. The hotel is surrounded by a beautifully maintained green area (and an outdoor swimming pool) adding to the overall serene and peaceful atmosphere. It is also close to picturesque 7 lakes. Highly recommended!

YOU HAVE TO TRY THE KAVARMA! We were there for 3 nights and we had the kavarma 4 times! We even got the recipe! The host is so sweet and always greeted us with a big smile! At the end we shook his hand and thanked him for a great stay! The rooms are enormous, with radiators and air con. They were very clean and cosy. We also enjoyed the small garden and the location in the beautiful mountains. The monastery is also really close and there are multiple hiking routes from there!

I just love this place. Once you visit Magiyata Na Rila complex, you feel you want to go there again. This is my second visit and it feels even better than before. The surrounding of the resort is simply magical. Waking up with the sound of the fast running water stream and birds singing, is addictive… The food is so yummy and just few minutes drive from the eternal Rila Monastery…

We had an amazing experience at Emaly 2. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary facilities. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and as a bonus, we had the best waiter who was on his first working day - very funny and helpful and made our experience even better. **Review:** Our stay here was excellent. The rooms were clean and everything felt new. The breakfast included in the price was very good. They also offer a dinner menu and provide drinks and snacks if needed. The location is convenient, just a 10-minute drive to the chairlift to Rila Lakes. The hosts were incredibly nice and welcoming.

The location is just wonderful. Of course, you have to a car to get up, but once you do, it is an amazing experience! The restaurant in the hotel is really great - super tasty local (and not only) food and drinks. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast there and all were wonderful + also great price performance.

Cosy family hotel located in a small place. Comfortable, very clean and spacious room. Very friendly owners. There is a restaurant but during low season it doesn't work. The distance from Rilsky monastery is 67 km by car. The hotel has no its own parking, the car can be parked in a street.

Close enough to spend the night before a morning hike to the 7 Rila Lakes. We found 1 Restaurant open late with OK food and an ice cream stand near by. Nothing but fast food banitsa for breakfast on a Monday morning.

It is a magical remote location situated in an amazing forest.Clean, fresh air and beautiful forest of tall pine trees. Very well maintained and cute surroundings. It is not exactly a village but a remote location with few mountain hotels .Perfect for hiking to the Seven Rilla Lakes or other less difficult hikes.You need a car for sure but there are also buses from Sofia passing through.The lift is far for a walking distance .It is around 6.5 km from there.

I stayed for only one day, so I did not have time to explore...

I stayed for only one day, so I did not have time to explore much outside the city center. However, if you do one thing in Kyustendil - go and see Vladimir Dimitrov - Maistora Museum. It is a very nice exhibit and the museum has over 1000 masterpiece, including some of his most famous paintings.

it was super cool! Awesome architecture and history. Lovely location outside any cities. It could use more parking areas. We enjoyed the little ice cream and trinket shops. Bit of a drive to get there on a very windy mountain road, but the views were amazing.

We were there on December 25 for 2 nights, we gave constructive comments about the food, especially at dinner. We thought they would take it into account, so they came back after 4 months and with 2 more couples. What a mistake we made!!! The garden in the morning and especially in the evening the food was cold!!! Served in a poor manner! In the evening cold soups, inedible steaks, literally the sole of a shoe... and more... and more... We notified the shift manager and no interesting response. The main pools outside were not active, no message when booking, maybe we wouldn't have come! A hotel that doesn't take constructive comments from its guests doesn't deserve to be respected! Just don't come to this hotel!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff, great car parking, comfortable bed, good wifi, nice swimming pool (a little on the small side). Very good breakfast with a good choice of different options. On the down side, no lift, no air-conditioning and a little deceptive to mention that the Rila Monastery was about 16km away...not CLEARLY mentioning that this is in a straight line. It is a one and a half hour drive..... 😔

Kyustendil is small town but beautiful and with many things...

Kyustendil is small town but beautiful and with many things to do there. You can go to the Osogovo mountain to ski, or to hike, there is a breathtaking views on the top. Nice places to eat are: Chainata, Tihiat kut, Hotel Ramira, Mayorskata kushta and ect. Visit the museum of Vladimir Dimitrov - maistora. The historical museum offers a lot to be seen as well. Go to spa! The mineral waters in Kyustendil are very healing and do not miss to enjoy the open water pools with hot water especially in winter time.

This is the iconic monastery of Bulgaria.

This is the iconic monastery of Bulgaria. It is free and well worth the visit. It should only take you about two hours to see the whole monastery. Make sure to out the back side of the monastery and buy some makitsa.

Highly recommended place.

Highly recommended place. The house is comfortable, quiet, and very clean. The hosts are attentive, available, and respond quickly to any request. We stayed there in December, and although it was cold outside, the house was warm and cozy. The location is excellent for trips to Park 7 Lakes and the hot springs in the area. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back again.
