The spa center was excellent. I paid for anti-stress massage program, which was wonderful. The room was clean, air-conditioned, with great curtains, it had all we needed. The personnel was very polite and helpful.

The view from the pool area is amazing. The staff is very polite and friendly which is very rare so we really appreciated the good service. Food in the restaurant was very tasty. The whole hotel was very clean. Spotless! Also the water is mineral and the spa is great. Perfect location for visiting the area and do some hiking.

The staff is very welcoming, they have a small kitchen place at the entry with an espresso machine, ready to use anytime you need a coffee, a tea, or a snack. Although they don't serve breakfast, in the morning you are welcomed to enjoy fresh coffee and pastry, sweet and savory. In was only a stop by for us there, but we will be back for the fresh air and the wonderful hotel. We will be back!

It had a unique outdoor pool with hot mineral water and a greenhouse like cover above to keep warm. This made it feel like a hot pool and steam room in one. We enjoyed it lot. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

This hotel is located in the town of Rila, next to a bus stop and on the road towards the Rila Monastery. It features free Wi-Fi and free parking. The pictures do not do the place justice. The out side is pretty unassuming, but once you enter the courtyard you encounter a hidden gem. The room was perfect for our needs - good size with a double bed and wet room, and a balcony with the most beautiful view of the valley that never failed to move us. There is no a/c (and we weren't expecting it) but we the walls are nice and thick so the inside remained cool, despite it being in the mid 30's outside. The hostess, Alexandra, was absolutely wonderful. She made us feel so welcome and looked after, and always greeted us warmly. I wish we could have spent more time there, definitely our favourite place in Bulgaria. The on-site restaurant is fantastic - the food was authentic, local and super tasty. Best fish I have had in a while. If you get the chance, I whole heartedly recommend staying at the Centaur.
