Everything. The place is an absolute dream, a time machine if I ever saw one. Spotless, beautifully decorated, homely, perfect for anyone in search of relaxation, inspiration or to experience Bulgarian history and hospitality. The food was super tasty and I really loved drinking my coffee under the apple trees, in the dining area overlooking the garden or on the tiny three legged chair on the balcony. Most importantly the hosts are the source of all the magic - I felt right at home from the start. They are caring, attentive, told me very interesting things about the village and provided advice for the sights one can go check out in the area.
A huge thank you for all your work and love you have put into these houses. It was an absolute pleasure to be there.
Also the village is close to Shumen which has many things to offer in terms of museums, the fortress, the monument above the city and some lovely restaurants.

The hotel is amazing, the rooms clean and very nice and the people from the hotel are extremely nice and friendly, we came in the early morning at the day of our check in and the woman at the receptiom let us come earlier into our room. 100% recommended for stays in Shumen.

Very relaxed, the pool was good, plenty of space, jacuzzi not working. 3 separate groups of people had lots of space.
It was possible bring your own food and drink, cook on barbecue, full use of big fridges. Games room was fun.

I love returning here. The hotel is up the hill and in the foots of another hill and offers view up to the hill and down over the city. The rooms are artsy and clean, the restaurant is excellent!

Owner of the hotel and his wife are very friendly people. They hosted me very nicely. The room was very clean and cossy. Wifi connection is quite good. The room was very large.

Very pleasant provincial town, extremely few foreign tourists. English language is not really spoken in restaurants or touristic sights, and make sure to have cash with you for museums, especially the Monument and the Fortress on the hill - they do not take card payments.

Shumen is a very nice place for tourist visits.
Shumen is a very nice place for tourist visits. It has a lot of sites (museums, fortresses), and along the main pedestrian zone offers a lot of places with food and coffee. In close proximity to the town are located the historical Bulgarian capitals of Pliska and Preslav, as well as the Madara Rider UNESCO site. A landmark of the town is the gigantic monument, dedicated to the Founding of the Bulgarian State.

Very interesting if you like learning about the history of...
Very interesting if you like learning about the history of the country you're travelling. Most sights are not in the city centre - for example you have to walk over an hour to the fortress through a park and the forest - so that's a nice little hike, too. Extremely recommended: the Madara Archeological Preserve. Madara is only a couple of train stops from Shumen.
