A nice, quiet place. Good value for money. Just a little further from the center.
A recently renovated guest house set in Bohicon, Guest House ETE-D Plus features a shared lounge. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

Abomey feel a bit like a tourist trap for Benin standards.
Abomey feel a bit like a tourist trap for Benin standards. The palaces are closed for renovation, including apparently some of the private palaces. Otherwise, there is not much here. And, as compared to other villages in Benin, the people here call you "Blanche" a lot. In other areas, they would respectfully greet you. Not a big problem, they are still friendly, but it shows that tourism ( and probably mostly tours) is stronger here.
If you're planning a longer trip, look beyond Abomey and set off to explore the whole country!
