Breakfast, was full of options and they even did eggs benedict when it wasn't the eggs benedict day. The room was super clean they we had a 2 persons bed and still another one on the side. Beds were super comfortable and all was super clean also in the bathroom. If you are not a huge ecologist, the bath tube was big enough for 2. Please go to the massage on the top and pay the 1h30 min relaxing, it is amazing. Location is perfect, you can always go for a walk during the day near the beach, the surroundings on the back of the hotel, I will not recommend to walk there alone, but I think nobody will point you a gun. There is a nice padaria if you are not willing to pay for breakfast.

Everything!! Oriented towards one of the best views of the island, Pousada Maravilha is an authentic gem of natural beauty!! Constructed with natural resources largely, it blends nicely with the landscape and makes you feel part of it. The lovely staff just brings the whole experience to a different level. The restaurant is again amazing. All dishes we’ve tried were awesome.

This place couldn’t be better if it tried. Amazing staff, impressive food and overal restaurant service, super duper hospitable with many different little treats throughout your stay (loved cha da tarde), great pools and sports fascilities. The rooms are so beautiful you’ll never want to leave. Would 110% recommend.

PORTO DE GALHINHAS IS A VERY ROMANTIC SPOT WITH NICE BEACHES AND GOOD RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS. 10 YEARS AGO IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. TODAY ITS OVERRUN BY TOURISTS WHICH HARMS A BIT THE ROMANTIC ENERGY BUT IT IS STILL WORTH VISITING IT

The island is a paradise, comparable to Maldives or Thailand. Very very expensive for Brazilian standards, at least 2-3 times more expensive than in Brazilian main cities. Snorkeling is a must (or diving if you like to) dolphins, turtles, sting rays, dolphins and colorful fish are all around specially on Praia do Porto beach.

I liked the huge coastline to walk around and the lively historic centres of Recife and Olinda. I didn't take any tours but I think they would have been a nice addition and also I could have stayed more time in Olinda.

Olinda is an old city and not well kept.

Olinda is an old city and not well kept. I honestly did not like it even though it shows a lot of history. The city needs a major make over; it is not cared for as much as it should. The sidewalks are broken and one has to be very careful to avoid falling. The graffiti took over the city like a plague. it was an eyesore! I will never return to Olinda; it was a major disappointment.

A small town with a very beautiful beach. Perfect for relaxing, either as a couple or family. The weather was great even in winter! Tip: June and July are a bit rainy. August is better, and still cheap.

Porto de Galinhas is a charming place, especially at night...

Porto de Galinhas is a charming place, especially at night when the village really comes to life. The streets are full of little shops, local crafts, and great restaurants. One of our favorites was Restaurante Domingos – super cozy and perfect for a special dinner, with amazing seafood. If you're looking for something more affordable but still delicious, Trattoria is a great pick for pasta and Italian dishes. During the day, besides relaxing on the beach and visiting the natural pools, we also tried diving – it was such a cool experience, and you don’t even need to be a diver. Honestly, Porto has the perfect mix of laid-back vibes, good food, and fun things to do.

It’s a lovely village island but very under developed with...

It’s a lovely village island but very under developed with un made roads a lot of traffic and lacking in infrastructure. Many other Beautiful islands to visit with much better infrastructure on this planet. Ticked the box but wouldn’t return, nothing special like people suggest. Maldives or Bali, Thai Land is much better and more developed. It’s also very expensive to eat out £150 for lunch and or dinner each time.

The esplanade, the old town, the random fiestas, the kiosks...

The esplanade, the old town, the random fiestas, the kiosks were all fab. Unfortunately one or two streets back it starts getting a bit lairy and festering. There are canal works going off as well which makes the whole area pen a bit.

Olinda is one of the few remaining colonial cities in Brazil...

Olinda is one of the few remaining colonial cities in Brazil, rich in history and full of charm. Its steep cobbled streets are lined with colorful houses, lively squares, and countless old churches. Locals like to say there’s one for every day of the year. The city also pulses with the rhythm of frevo, a powerful and exuberant music that fills the air with energy and joy. And after exploring, there are plenty of inviting places to sit down and enjoy the local food and atmosphere.
