The room was super clean they we had a 2 persons bed and still another one on the side. Beds were super comfortable and all was super clean also in the bathroom. If you are not a huge ecologist, the bath tube was big enough for 2.
Please go to the massage on the top and pay the 1h30 min relaxing, it is amazing.
Location is perfect, you can always go for a walk during the day near the beach, the surroundings on the back of the hotel, I will not recommend to walk there alone, but I think nobody will point you a gun.
There is a nice padaria if you are not willing to pay for breakfast.

I liked the huge coastline to walk around and the lively historic centres of Recife and Olinda. I didn't take any tours but I think they would have been a nice addition and also I could have stayed more time in Olinda.

The esplanade, the old town, the random fiestas, the kiosks...
The esplanade, the old town, the random fiestas, the kiosks were all fab. Unfortunately one or two streets back it starts getting a bit lairy and festering. There are canal works going off as well which makes the whole area pen a bit.

If you are going for shopping or to walk on the beach than...
If you are going for shopping or to walk on the beach than you are in the right place. It has 2 big shopping moles and it has a nice place called Boa Viagem where I recommend you to go for some physical activity and even for a walk during the day.
People are extremely friendly, but of course there is a lot of people bagging on the streets, the rich are too rich and the poor are extremely poor.
I recommend you to go to the Capitão Gancho Pizzaria and Entre amigos o bode, both very nice places. The first one extremely local and the other one depends on which part of the restaurant you choose.
Always take an uber specially if you don't speak the language.
There are beaches "near by" 1h where you can swim with uber costing €21 or dollars one-way. Like for instance Porto de Galinhas Beach and city.

Amazing historic centre (part repaired, part in state of ruin), a palace and arts centres so plenty to spend a day. With more time I would have headed out ot town to attractions 30-40 mins away. A bike tour was a good way to esplore the city. Recife combined with Olinda could be a 4 day trip

In the lobby and the food was very nice
The rooms need some upgrades and the bathrooms must get maintenance the water drainage issue is a problem and it needs upgrading to be more than a 3 star room.
But the view was 4 star and the staff was 5

I loved the locals, the culture, the beach, and the homeless...
I loved the locals, the culture, the beach, and the homeless people I fed while I was there. I liked the old center, the city in general I liked Olinda, and old town nearby that I should recommend. I like the Assai Supermarket and the Shopping Rio Mar. The Outlet restaurant at the shopping. The people are tall, beautiful, nice artists. I loved Recife and Porto de Galinhas and Praia dos Carneiros where I bought a flat. I live in Brasília, but have many friends in Araçatuba, São Paulo, where I was born and raised. They will all be in my flat when it is ready in 3 years.

The hotel is one of the few hotels located close to the beach of Boa Viagem. The room are of good size and have a fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are cleaned daily and the towels changed. Breakfast is optional, but it is good value at R$ 47 p.p. It offers a variety of fruits, some warm dished and large selection of sweets. There is a bakery/supermarket Diplomata in the building offering a variety of breads, cold cuts and beverages. It also offers a warm lunch and dinner a quilo.

Located at Praia de Boa Viagem, the hotel offers very nice views of the beach and sea. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice offering a variety of options. The staff was extremely friendly and supportive during our stay.
