We first stayed at the hotel at the beginning of this year and was absolutely blown away by the cleanliness, the location, the kitchen set up, and even the little coffee machine in the lobby. Quick check in and check out. I slept great. Gives you a “at home” feeling and I love the welcome message on the TV. Good job Kendall on the clean.

I was honestly a bit skeptical before our trip because of some negative reviews I had read, but once we arrived at Livingwater Resort and Spa, that completely changed. From the very beginning, Hannah, the supervisor, made such a positive difference. She warmly welcomed me and my family and immediately made us feel comfortable on the property. She even upgraded our room to a newer one with a much better view. Although she mentioned that the room we originally booked was already great, she still went the extra mile and placed us in a room that was even better, which we truly appreciated. One of the common negative reviews I had seen mentioned that the resort felt like a maze and was hard to navigate. However, Hannah clearly explained how to get around and gave us simple, easy-to-follow directions to our room, which made everything stress-free from the start. She was professional, helpful, and truly great at her job. Our room was huge perfect for our family. The kids had so much fun just playing in the space. It was very clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and appliances, including a washing machine and dishwasher. We didn’t end up using everything, but it was great knowing it was all there. The pool was another highlight. It wasn’t crowded during our stay, which made it even more enjoyable. The kids loved it, and the jacuzzi was a nice bonus as well. We also had a small issue with the TV, but it was resolved very quickly, which we really appreciated. As for dining, the restaurant exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was excellent, but dinner truly stood out, the steak was world-class and absolutely delicious. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. Overall, we would definitely come back. Hannah’s exceptional service made our entire experience extremely positive right from the start, and it truly set the tone for a great family stay.

Clean room and all the emenities you could ask for. Microwave, fridge, and a 32" TV. Hot shower and clean towels. Couldn't ask for more from such an affordable accommodation. Would definitely visit again. BTW, A 15-30 minute drive to the blue mountains ski resort(depending on weather conditions). Worth every penny if you want to extend your day ski trip to a weekend trip.

Nice area, lots of restaurants and shopping, even though it was early November. The free shuttle bus between the unit and Blue Mountain Village was very easy to book and the drivers were very accommodating.

Very nice town on Lake Huron, great shops and all the services you need. We stayed there because we went to visit some apple orchards to sample their cider products, we hiked in the Blue Mountains and we also really enjoyed Wasaga Beach without the crowds during this amazingly warm off-season (September 2025). The hotel was just a little outside town, the area rather industrial, but it suited us well since parking was free and it was easy to travel to the places we went to visit.

Meaford is a hidden gem.

Meaford is a hidden gem. They have the beautiful harbour, walking trails, new library, great shops, restaurants and Meaford Hall with first rate entertainment. If you are lucky to be there on market day check out the local fresh produce, crafts and butter tarts. Check out The Red Door Pub and The Dam Pub for great food. Tilleys has an awesome breakfast and really reasonable. In fact I don't know how they keep their prices so affortable. You can walk everywhere and with the price of gas that is wonderful. We ate well during our stay but we walked off those extra calories. The people around town were amazingly friendly. Be proud Meaford.

Blue mountain is a must see place for any time of the year.

Blue mountain is a must see place for any time of the year. The volunteers and staff at all the activity areas were fantastic, knowledgeable and clearly explained the instructions and safety protocols for all activities. Location is maintained very clean. Very good for families.

The parking at Sunset Point was outrageous; $ 10/hour. It's not easy to find free parking in the city. Don't park in the downtown Loblaws parking lot and leave....you will be fined! It was nice to visit the Arboretum.....one of the only places I. This city with free parking!

It is was Monday so a lot was closed including eating facilities we would have gone to....we went to Thornbury for dinner. I love Meaford and would highly recommend visiting but careful accommodations especially if you have a dog.

It's tons of fun with a lot of different activities. Could be fun in summer, fall, winter! There was a lot of good food, the hiking was good, prices were reasonable for a tourist village. We want to go back with our kids! Twist Kitchen and cocktail was fantastic.

We brought our bikes and cycled the Georgian Trail, an unpaved but easy ride to Thornbury and Meaford. Be sure to have ice cream in Thornbury on the main street, little yellow front. Just off First Street in Collingwood, is an amazing trail and boardwalk, we just found it by accident. But shouldn't be missed. Visited the Blue Mountain village. Very pleasant, great for families. After the village visit we spent the afternoon at Wasaga Beach, beach #5 was a lovely spot.
