"The best holiday home we have ever booked in Canada. Very new (09/23) , absolute clean and with all comfort you need. (Sauna, Hamman Jacuzzi). Complete , well equipped kitchen. ( we loved to cook by ourself) Very private (in the woods), but with nice view from the terrasse (Lorence River) and only a close ride (15 minutes by car ) to next village to buy whatever you need for own cooking ... or to go for external cafe or dinner. We spent perfect 3 days enjoying every day and evening - relaxing after our daily tours - and would have spend longer if we would have time to do. This "Tiny house" is an absolute recommendation !!!"

Lovely place. Amazing view and vibe. In the heart of little town in Charlevoix region. Room was comfortable, everything was clean. Bathroom was shared with one other room. Common areas were well equipped, beautifully decorated and functional. Lot of things to do around. Town was pretty, national parks were close.

The large free car park. The room was very nice and very big. We upgraded to a suite which wasn’t a lot more money and it was well worth it. The buffet breakfast was excellent. My favourite at breakfast was the waffle machine where you made your own waffles. I had mine with honey and bananas.

Located directly opposite the river, this was a wonderful place to stay. Amelie and her family who run the Auberge are extremely welcoming and helpful. The view of the river from our room and from our table in the dining room was delightful. We had an excellent meal in the dining room, a six-course tasting menu. And the breakfast, which is included in the tariff, was a bonus.

I chose this place for its location to the ferry and potential whale spotting. The room was a little smaller than expected, but met our expectations. It was very clean and comfortable. Loved being able to look out at the water from our room, sit outside in a chair and even walk down to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean room, comfortable mattress, free parking, reasonable distance by car to the heart of the city. Amazing view of the river and the mountains. Very close to the sand beach. Restaurant on site offers meals at a separate rate. Our stay was too short to take advantage of the amenities on site but there is a sauna, a pool, etc.

La Malbaie is a fascinating destination with accessibility to artists’ villages, fromageries, fabulous bakeries and superb terroir cuisine. Stunning views over the Saint Lawrence, wonderful walking trails at all levels. The artist village of Baie St. Paul is a must!

What we liked most was the location (close to whale watching departure point in Baie-Saint-Catherine), the cleanliness of the place (rooms, kitchen and lounge), the genuine kindness and helpfulness of the hosts. Although we enjoyed the breakfast, it was on the sweet side (it would be nice with some protein options ie. hard boiled eggs, cheese, and non-canned fruit options),

The island has a small population, few cars, and is perfect...

The island has a small population, few cars, and is perfect for cyclists. A scenic road hugs the coastline all the way around, offering plenty of spots to stop and enjoy stunning views. Getting around is simple, even on foot. I highly recommend La Boulangerie Bouchard for fresh baked goods, breakfast, snacks, or lunch. They have outdoor tables with stunning views of the St. Lawrence River and the mountains of Les Éboulements.

This was my first stay at this hotel and I really enjoyed it...

This was my first stay at this hotel and I really enjoyed it! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. My only regret is that I only stayed for one night and didn’t book a room with a view of the river — something I’ll definitely do next time!

We were there for 3 nights and given that it was the shoulder season, that was enough time. There are some great restaurants - Buvette Gentille was amazing and Le Moutin Noir was also very good. Orange is a good breakfast/brunch spot. Many beautiful art galleries to peruse. A beautiful small town in one of the most beautiful places in Canada.

Going up the North Coast of the St.

Going up the North Coast of the St. Lawrence to Tadoussac is an absolute must as a complement to a stay in the City of Quebec. Great scenery, lovely and welcoming people, abundant wildlife, relaxing change of pace, and a lot of interesting sites to visit.
