I only stayed for two nights, but I really wish it had been longer! Kerri and Philippe are amazing hosts — super friendly and helpful. Before I arrived, they sent me a WhatsApp message with all the details, which made check-in super easy. My room was small but really cozy, with a cute little desk overlooking the green inner courtyard. I also got some great tips on what to do in the area. Next time, I’ll definitely stay a bit longer!

David was a brilliant host, he was easy to get on with and unobtrusive but friendly. His BNB is beautifully decorated, quiet, and perfectly located with walking distance to both a picturesque beach and plenty of restaurants in the town centre. He speaks both English and French which was useful for us. The homemade breakfasts were delicious with lots of local produce and loads to choose from. He held a fire in the evening which was a lovely extra. The bed was big and comfortable and everything was really clean with some great extras like a microwave and fridge in the room as well as a Nintendo Switch! We had a really great time, one of the best places we have stayed in, cannot fault it. Thank you David.

We spent 3 nights in the Superior Queen Room. We are sure it was a King sized bed & super comfortable. Actually we would have called this an Efficiency Apartment as they provided metal cutlery, wine glasses, coffee mugs, fridge, Keurig coffee machine & capsules, and everything that one needs for their coffee, & a microwave! This room is at the far end of the lower level so no one was walking by to get to their rooms. We had a super nice visit and could easily walk everywhere in town.

Clean room, comfortable mattress, free parking, reasonable distance by car to the heart of the city. Amazing view of the river and the mountains. Very close to the sand beach. Restaurant on site offers meals at a separate rate. Our stay was too short to take advantage of the amenities on site but there is a sauna, a pool, etc.

Yes, this town is a tourist town.

Yes, this town is a tourist town. But they do it really well. You won't find a bad meal in Baie-Saint-Paul. The main street is filled with restaurants and galleries that you can easily spend a few days enjoying. The many plaques commemorating significant people in the history of BSP should be read. You can use BSP as a base to explore Charlevoix, as everything is an enjoyable daytrip. Faux Bergers is a wonderful dining experience, but not cheap, so be prepared (it's worth it). Moutin Noir has a great location, right by the Gouffre river, and the food is excellent. L'Accalmie was a pleasant surprise, and they have a nice terrasse for outdoor dining. The food was good quality and well-priced. The Hydromel Charlevoix features honey and honey-based wines/liquors. They offer tastings that you can try in the garden out front. BSP is very walkable, and you should definitely dedicate enough time.

The best holiday home we have ever booked in Canada.

The best holiday home we have ever booked in Canada. Very new (09/23) , absolute clean and with all comfort you need. (Sauna, Hamman Jacuzzi). Complete , well equipped kitchen. ( we loved to cook by ourself) Very private (in the woods), but with nice view from the terrasse (Lorence River) and only a close ride (15 minutes by car ) to next village to buy whatever you need for own cooking ... or to go for external cafe or dinner. We spent perfect 3 days enjoying every day and evening - relaxing after our daily tours - and would have spend longer if we would have time to do. This "Tiny house" is an absolute recommendation !!!

The village has its charm and stretches along the waterfront (St Laurent estuary). It has a small grocery - convenience store, quaint church and a waterfront park and small beach. It's a tranquil place. Not much in terms of restaurants, not many tourists go there. But it's a 10 minute drive from Baie St-Paul. Lots of big hills ! There's a Club Med resort next to the Massif complex, just outside the village.

I booked one night in Baie-Sainte-Paul only as a pitstop on my way to the fjord, I was not aware what a lovely little town it is and wish I stayed at least for one more day. The town, though small, has a range of cute shops, restaurants and galleries and has a lively scene during the summer with plenty of things to explore. Baie St. Paul is also a convenient base to multiple parks in the area that are worth a visit.

The room was shabby but clean.

The room was shabby but clean. The bed was supposed to be a double but I’m sure it was smaller than that. There were nails in the wall instead of hooks to hang your clothes on. The window was tiny and gave onto the parking lot…not the view I was expecting. The view from the deck by the dining area was very nice. The staff was very friendly.

Le Massif is a terrific mountain to ski. That’s why we come.

Le Massif is a terrific mountain to ski. That’s why we come. You can’t get better than skiing over the St Lawrence river - watching the ships, the ice floes and the tides. It’s simply glorious. The resort is excellent. Lines are short, runs are well groomed and there are a lot of fun tree runs. Les Sommets is close to the lift and easy access - about a ten minute drive from the bottom, twenty to the top Parking. And you wake up to the view. Very serene.
